Rule #1 of the ten Kobe commandments is Kobe does not make mistakes. Yes, this was not a well thought out response, I'm aware of this. Tmac is my favorite player, and I'll be the first to admit when he says stuff that is dead wrong in the media (like bashing his mates in orl). Nas is my favorite rapper, but I'll be the first to admit that he is shady as hell. You, my friend cannot just say, Kobe ****** up, and let it die, you gotta battle every word, like I said somethin about your mom. That's whats really sad. I've seen you referred to as Markobe many times... now I know why. I mean come on. instead of sayin yeah, he was wrong. You come at me for not realizing it was a spur of the moment comment made in an interview. Well, guess what, I know it wasn't a preplanned response. He's an athlete, and a huge figure in the media. Kobe deals w/ questions hes not prepared to answer everyday, as do all figures in the media. Just b/c he wasn't prepared to answer it and it was an "off the cuff comment" doesn't mean it doesn't matter. He answered the way he did, and I think it was wrong, you on the other hand, do not see my logic, even though I spelled it out for you at least three times.
woah buddy. Fact is, what Kobe said is just as valid as what Nas said.
I never said Kobe doesn't make mistakes, he obviously has made huge mistakes and screwed a lot of stuff up. BUT, saying what he said about Nas is not one of them, as you are trying to make it out to be. Call me markobe if you want, i prefer to just call myself rational.

Kurruption and Markobe, just to prove what I said about being the first to admit Nas' faults. If you're wondering how many musicians cheat on their wives, Nas' pops is one of them. He goes into vivid detail about his dad cheating on his mom in his song "poppa was a player"... ill song. However, the song is about more than Kobe cheating. It's about him going on trial for raping a white girl, not standing for anything or giving back to the community, snitching on shaq, and switching his whole style up after getting caught. However, that said, I dont think Nas shoulda went after Kobe or anyone seeing as how he inst perfect himself.

However, THAT said, I dont think Kobes response was all that considering alot of his peers are in the same boat as Nasir. All I said was I thought it was a bad response, and it turned into a war b/c I wasnt kissing Kobes ***. Well, I'm not gonna blindly big up some superstar just because theyre my favorite. If Nas is wrong I'm gonna call him wrong, if Tmac is wrong Imma call him wrong, and yes, if i think Kobe was wrong Imma call him wrong... live with it.

Actually, Ray didn't care about the block that much. It was Kobe's taunting after the block that did it.

Kobe didnt go for the ball after the block. He just let it roll by him while he trash talked Allen.

Rashard Lewis pick the ball up and dunked it with Kobe's back to him.

            IMO thats pretentious

What's the difference between cheating on your wife with a normal white girl who doesn't say anything and cheating with a crazy white girl who decides to accuse you of rape?

And are you sure that Kobe doesn't do anything for the community?

I could care less what Nas said about Kobe, and what Kobe said about Nas.

The only thing that really caught my eye is when people are knocking on Kobe for trying to switch up his character after his trial. Isn't that what he is supposed to be doing? I thought that when people do something wrong, it is their job to change for the better.

I agree with some of ya'll, we can hate these athletes off the court as people, but when it matters most for this sport, they are some of the best at what they do.
I agree. And I think alot of people attack Kobe as a person every chance they get, because they can't attack his game... its damn good. However, if you are unsatisfied w/ this post because its speaking on kobe as a person I'm sorry. The post is mainly about him saying ray is good b/c Kobe Bryant motivated him, and his respons to Nas. We're not exactly going to discuss Kobe's jumpshot in this thread. However there are many other threads where such discussions are being held, I suggest the official lakers thread. Alot of people say all that matters is what he does on the court. If thats the case, post in the threads that talk about what he does on the court, dont come into the ones about his beef w/ nas, beef w/ shaq, his trial, etc. and if you do, dont say what he does on the court is all that matters, then try and defend what he does off the court.

I agree, but you should know by now that rule #1 is "nothing is Kobe's fault". Markobe has already stated that the beef was 100% brought on by ray allen. While I think Ray perpetuated it, I'm not gonna say Kobe was an innocent lamb in the rivalry and that ray is 100 percent at faullt.

The thing is, people aren't mad that he's switching it up for the better, theyre mad because he's switching for the worse.
