Re: Kobe speaks on Ray Allen, Shaq, and NaS (a must read)

I remember when the Kobe incident happen some reporters went up to Allen Iverson about how he felt. This is one of the deepest and most mature comment I heard from someone in a longtime. He said " I dont want to speak on it, I didnt like when people spoke up about my incident". I think he was talking about the argument between with his wife.

I am more than willing to talk about Kobe game on the court but I feel its a female dog move to talk about a man personal life. This includes Jada, Nas, and every one else that look into another man life but dont want to check their own lives. Dont speak on things you dont know and clearly we dont know what happen with Kobe and the young lady.

    Peace

You think its fair to have the FBI sent after a teammate when he had nothing to do with what happened in Colorado

No. I also dont think outside folks need to carry on a long winded debate about the incident. Its between Shaq and Kobe. The other stuff is just drama.

The FBI never went after Shaq...the media did, I've read the same allegations before but the were never made public...just b/c Kobe said something to that effect, it became big news...what a joke. The FBI was never interested in what the Big ****** had to say...unlike ESPN, who always have one of their mics up his nose.

I can see you're a die-hard Kobe fan, but no, I disagree. He was not the only reason why the Lakers got to the finals, the supporting cast stepped up big time. And I do believe if he had passed the ball more to Shaq, the Lakers (as much as I hate to admit it) would have had a better chance of beating the Pistons
Actually fam, Larry Hughes is my favorite player in the NBA...Chris Webber after him. I have never been a Lakers Fan, but I am a Kobe Bryant fan (if that makes any sense)...I like his game, I like his arrogance (b/c I'm arrogant)..I like that cockiness, b/c that gives him a mental advantage over opponents...SG's are afraid to go heads-up with Kobe (look at Michael Redd)...I agree that Kobe may not have 'wanted' that last title, but he still played hard...if Fisher, George, Rush, Cook, Walton, Fox...anybody would have helped out during the Finals he would not have had to dominate the ball....who was going to take over the game...Shaq? Please he couldn't hit a ten footer to save his life, let alone lead a comeback in the fourth quarter of a deciding game...that's Kobe time...that's why neither will win a title solo.

Actually i can see shaq winning a title cause he gets others involved in key moments unlike kobe bryant and i know a number of players that would heads up with kobe. Baron Davis is always taking it to him when hes guarding him, Tmac takes it to him, Iverson made him look riduclous in the finals of 01 and thats just to name a few

Who do you think it was that questioned Shaq in Hawaii when Kobe snitched on him? The media knew nothing about it at the time, and neither did we.
Shaq never even said anything about the incident until the story came out almost a year later and they asked him about it.

I'm with you on that one. I dont even listen to rap so I didnt hear the Nas song, and dont care to.

And with that again, I think Shaq and Kobe will regret the opportunities they blew together. Kobe is now getting worked like a dog by Rudy T who overuses his star players.

Since we're talking basketball, I'll guess I'll comment on this.

Baron Davis - The Hornets played the Lakers earlier this year, where Bryant asked Rudy to give him the Assignment of BD from the start to the end of the game. Kobe did a GREAT job of keeping the BD out of offense and that was a big reason that the Lakers got ahead by 33 points. In the 4th quarter, Kobe went to the bench, and with Tierre Brown guarding Davis, Baron started to make some shots and got to the foul line a lot. That's basically the only time BD was offensively strong. He eventually finished 5-20.

Tracy McGrady - The greatest defense that I've ever seen Kobe play is against T-mac in that comeback game. People have argued that Kobe only guarded T-Mac for that quarter, and was resting up and all that, but I still think that Kobe's defense had something to do with it. It's no coincidence that T-Mac scored 35 in the first 3 quarters when Kobe wasn't guarding him, and was shut down when Kobe did guard him.

Allen Iverson - Allen Iverson did torch somebody, but it wasn't Kobe. Remember? "Luuuueeeeeee." Tyronne Lue and Derek Fisher drew the assignment of AI.
