Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
That was the ONLY good thing lol. Outside of him and sometimes Lamar, that was a worse team of all time contender. The post West/Baylor/Chamberlain pre Kareem Lakers weren't too hot either.Comment

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
A guy I work with hates the “we” or “us” stuff too, says it comes off as that person being part of the team. I myself never do the we/us stuff, but I also never feel like I have a team. Neither really bothers me. I know all teams/players have their fair share of good/bad fans.

They like to think they should get a pat on their back or something cause they're loyal to their team, but if you are worried about someone else's fandom, maybe you got bigger problems than you realize.Comment

Dark days indeed but some of these other teams don't wanna hear it.

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
Exactly. I’ve never had a “team” and have never felt the need to have one. Hypothetically speaking if I was in King’s shoes and hated management and all my players what fun would it be to root for a team that I didn’t like? I’ll never be in that position, unless at some point I move to an NBA city and that team is then “home”. That might change things. I’ve always been a fan of players, coaches that I’ve liked. Which is why I always wanted Bron in San Antonio lol
I grew up a Bulls fan, obviously Jordan, and being from the same state as Pippen, knowing people who knew him, that was a huge deal to me. Once that was over and that team was awful I realized really quick that Chicago is thousands of miles away from me and I had no reason to support a team I couldn’t stand watching. That being said, I’d love to see them be good again some day, with players that I actually like and respect.
Just shut up and embrace me with open arms lol.
Lakers haven’t had a player that I’ve actually “liked” since Nick Van Exel, or washed up Richmond. Respected the hell out of Shaq and Kobe, but always wanted to see that Kings group knock them out.
Landing any of Bron, PG, Kawhi would have made the Lakers a team I was interested in. Obviously that’s only multiplied a lot with it being LeBron. Now if I can just get him and Tatum/Brown and those Celtics back in the finals I’ll be a happy fan.

Yea wouldn't hate that either. They should definitely get one of the marquee nights. You have the storied rivalry between the 2 teams, as well as Bron vs Boston, and Bron vs Kyrie storylines as well.Comment
