They're plugging holes....there arent DeMarcus Cousins just sitting out there for every team waiting to be grabbed.. Pop wanted to meet with Bron this offseason, if we weren't on his radar, we cant kidnap the dude and make him meet with us.

So was Tyreke

and So on...............

It's not even like being on GS's level but I don't see some of these teams trying to get better at all, all the while complaining about the Warriors.... King is right.

I checked the board before any websites, and since 23 was the first one to post the news I legit thought he was joking and still being salty about "sources"

The team up mentality is really out of hand I think. Silver need to step in and ban the GS front office for being unsim

Look at King here comparing this **** to LeBron trying to get PG or Kawhi on his team. Like it’s the same as a 73 win team replacing Harrison Barnes and Pchulia with freaking Kevin Durant and Cousins..

It’s ****ing Day 2 of FA and we just had WojBombs and ShamBombs dropping pretty much non stop since midnight on Sunday.

Teams ain't wanna pay Cousins and let him rehab his injury. They wanted to lowball him.

Teams have to start realizing players have ALL the leverage in free agency( Once the players sign a contract the pendulum swings back towards the team).



Cousins was like "You don't wanna pay me? Oh I'mma make you pay me to get me off this team then. Won't lowball me again will you?"

What legitimately took place when they blocked the CP3 move to the Lakers? I genuinely don't remember how that transpired.

Chemistry, injury, anything can happen.

I'm still looking forward to the season. Every team gonna bring their best effort against the Warriors. We'll see what happens.

Yep, I'm there with you. They certainly appear to be prohibitive favorites but sometimes weird things happen - a setback from the Achilles recovery, an inability to squeeze into a smaller role, a chemistry flare-up at the wrong time, etc.

On a personal level, I'm a fan of these Warriors teams but I've never been much of a fan of DeMarcus Cousins so I'm torn. His attitude has been so wack in so many scenarios that I did not wish to see him rewarded with team success. Alas, he seems to have signed himself into a scenario that will be very, very difficult to screw up.

I think the next CBA is going to be interesting.

I'm surprised we haven't heard anyone in the league suggest an All Star cap. Similar to how soccer teams are limited to the number of international players they can have, the NBA might want to consider a cap on the number of one time All Stars or All NBA players.

This would not include players already on the roster. So if the limit is 3, you don't have to do anything if a fourth develops from your own roster. But once you have 3, you can't trade or sign an existing former All Star.

Until then LOL. Go Warriors? I can't wait to hear Breen say, "Curry goes to his right, dishes it to Green. Green to Thompson, pump fakes, passes it to Cousins in the post. 7 on the clock. Cousins spins, finds Curry in the corner, the extra pass to Durant for three! BANG!

Don't remember the exact details, but pretty sure it was because CP3's team was under control by the league office at the time. They didn't have an owner, so it was like the league was sending a top player to a top market
