I'll preface this by saying yes I am salty as hell because obviously our title chances are all but out the window. But you're right. Dudes were clowning Paul George because apparently he did it for the money and his friendship with Russell Westbrook which is apparently an issue. Now dudes are upset at Cousins because he's doing this to get a ring and rehab from his injury instead of taking I'm assuming larger offers from other teams.

People over here getting mad at players and these GMs and owners are just relaxing and getting away scott free. It's bad to want to get paid, it's bad to want to win, damn what the hell are dudes supposed to do then? Some of y'all are funny man.

I'm not mad at these 1%'ers...

They don't live on the same planet I do. They can do their thing.

Also I know it's ESPN more importantly it's Zach Lowe and it REALLY puts things into perspective and I don't doubt the "No DeMarcus Cousins" thing at all. Literally again, blame your front offices (mine included) and not the player for once.

Cousins gives Golden State another All-Star. Zach Lowe examines what that really means for Boogie and the Warriors.

It's unreal how GMs stay away from someone like Boogie but think it's a good idea to offer a massive deal to someone like Mozgov or Noah.

lol GS has more All-NBA players in their starting lineup than the East does total over the past few years.

As fans we better hope Boston comes out of the East, otherwise we are looking at 4 straight blowouts.

They'd rather have "great locker room guys" than someone who'd win them games.

Or at the very least would put fans back in the seats to recoup their investments.

Say what you want about Cousins. He's the one of the most exciting big men in the league to watch and he was THE ONLY REASON to buy tickets or merch as a Kings fan.

Honestly, it sounded like they were trying to black ball him out of the league and were going to use the injury as an excuse to say "Well, he wasn't worth nearly what he thought he was. Look at his injury, hardly anyone comes back from that".

Noah was sent home by the Knicks for half the season because he was so disruptive behind the scenes.

Love the pick up for GS...and good for Cousins. Apparently no one in the league wanted him, but even if they did...it's called being a FREE agent. You can sign wherever you want for whatever reason you want and you don't have to answer to anyone for it.

The butthurt over on realgm is makes me want to make an account over there. Man, the amount of people with no empathy for players is astounding.

These are still people working at/in a company.

They don't deserve empathy/sympathy for how they manage their finances. No one is advocating for that. But everyone should at least be able to empathize with them figuring out how to get the best deal for themselves anyway possible when damn near every American who has a salary job goes through the same process (perhaps without a manager or agent).

Especially when the job sector has proven it has no loyalty to anyone at all.

Can't imagine that NO didn't give him any sort of offer. Wasn't AD wearing the dudes jersey in the All Star game? Seemed like they had a good thing going there.

It was ridiculous. Dude got a paid vacation from the start of February onward.
