Even Woj reporting that Milwaukee might rescind the QO so chicago can sign him cheap. This is so dumb.

Seems like a Bulls move. A ticking time bomb of an ACL is almost a franchise tradition at this point.

The Bucks front office is so inept it makes me unhappy to be a Bucks fan, and we have Giannis Antetokounmpo on our team.

It can’t hurt to give him a try if you’re the Bulls though as long as he’s signed to a good deal.

            Another Gery Woelfel Twitter bomb:

As the old line goes, it's never over until it's over. While all indications point toward Jabari Parker accepting an offer sheet -- most likely for 2 years --from the Bulls, league sources say some other teams are now showing last-minute interest in the 23-yr-old Parker.

Latest I've heard is 2 yrs, but if teams want to pay Jabari more than 17 million a year with 2 ACL's and no defense, all the power to them.

I'm just glad he's staying in the east. Him trying to defend to Jaylen and Tatum was great.

Sounds like it’ll be roughly 2 years $40 million when it happens. Too much per year for my blood but it sounds like the Bucks rescinded his qualifying offer for no reason so Chicago might be able to include an option in there potentially. I just hate that we spent our entire cap on crappy role players so that we couldn’t even match Jabari if we wanted to.

I get the feeling it was probably a situation similar to the Lakers and Randle, where if he was willing to come back at the qualifying offer, with a reduced role on the team, then they would have brought him back, but they really weren't to heartbroken to let him go.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

$40 million for 2 years? Woof. That’s 20 million per ACL tear. **** it, go for Jimmy next year, re-sign D-Rose and we can run the ACL Tear All-Stars out there

I believe it was this thread that someone posted this link which is real telling about what goes on behind the scenes that DOESN'T get reported on:
When an NBA player hits free agency, it’s equal parts exciting and nerve-racking. When the process goes smoothly and the player signs a lucrative contract, he feels like all of his hard work has finally paid off and his family can be taken care of for generations to come.…

So, like, what is the Bulls identity? Dunn and Carter Jr suggest they can about defense, but Lavine, Parker and Mark scream all offense.

What an ugly built team. It's like a mishmash of modern NBA of positionless basketball and old NBA archetypes.
