I’m sure the Lakers would be comfortable letting Wagner get those minutes. Besides the occasional defense Brook would play, Wagner has almost a better skill set than Brook. At this point, Lakers almost have no option other than to throw Wagner out there anyway.

I really like that signing for the Bucks....I keep forgetting that Bropez isnt even 30 yet. Hes strung 3 seasons of 70+ games together and added a 3 point shot...still has Hibbertitis when it comes to rebounding but I have always liked him as a player..

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
In today’s league it’s really difficult to stay slow and run halfcourt stuff all game. Especially against teams like GS or Houston because it comes down to trading 2’s for 3’s which rarely benefits the team taking 2’s. You need great iso players, automatic post scorer, and either elite defense or a knack for forcing turnovers. The reason the Cavs in 16 and Houston this past year matched GS so well is they each had 2 great iso players, Hou was a well rounded defensive team, Cleveland was great at forcing turnovers, I think the reason Lue wanted to play faster is because it gave them that 3rd element they needed.
Otherwise you pretty much have to push the tempo to keep teams scrambling and hope for easy looks in transition and potential mismatches from not letting the defense set. If a team like the Lakers can be one of the best at scoring in transition and also be a good defensive team, they’ll do pretty well this year. Obviously no championship expectations from this group, but they won’t be an easy out.

Great fit for the the Bucks offensively, but still doesn’t help as far as them needing some sort of rim protection.

Better than Henson and Zeller put together, even though Henson is a rim protector for blocking shots.Comment

I can’t figure out this offseason you have Lopez only getting 3.3 million then Big contracts for average players.
