Not ready to call them a Top 5-8 playoff team just yet, especially considering just a month ago, the roster was trash and only made the playoffs because of Lebron. And even now, it’s pretty much the same outside of guys who have to prove themselves consistently.
Last year's team minus LeBron is definitely trash but so is the bottom of the EC, hence why they should have no problem competing for a low seed. This team has Sexton who I really like and I'm assuming Lue runs a system that works to their strengths rather than LeBron's. All that plus improvement from the young guys, Cedi in particular, they definitely aren't a cellar team like some are making them out to be. But a 5 seed and 1st round exit is definitely their ceiling.

Noah Vonleh signed with the Knicks.

It is interesting given the whole Kawhi stuff, and Green/Kawhi are both now playing elsewhere, getting checked by a different medical staff.

But sadly, this does seem to happen more often than you'd think. I remember in baseball how on player on the Jays didn't realize he was injured until his mom told him to get something checked. And some might know the whole CM Punk legal situation with a doctor in WWE. There's probably many more instances of bad sports doctor stories that players either never realized, or just never spoke up about. And lets not get started on the CTE stuff.

They’re a team full of net negative defenders with no identity and are one “Kevin Love out 3-6 weeks” breaking news story from being right at the bottom.

If we’re using your qualification(improvement from the young guys)for other teams, then they’re pretty much right at the bottom. They’d need a lot of things to go right for them to get anywhere near a Top 5 spot as this roster currently stands.

            Definition of “meh”.

Honestly I would agree with you if it wasn't for Colin Sexton. I'm extremely high on him and think he will compete for ROY. His intensity can't be taught and I think it will have a huge positive impact on the team. That's the basis of my prediction. Without him, you're totally right, one Love injury away from being screwed.

I know the east is bad but not bad enough where eh Kevin Love and Colin Sexton is a 5 seed.

Some interesting notes I read recently:
-Apparently Spurs turned down a deal of Kyrie + pick for Kawhi
                    -Kawhi passed his physical
-Kawhi won't be going to the Team USA minicamp (he's focusing on the Raptors instead)

I think he was the first of those 2 to even do the physical, so he did pass.

Can't believe tomorrow makes a week since this has happened. We have half a years worth of stories on this stuff.

You'll hear people reporting on both sides of every story just to get clicks. It's why I try not to pay attention to media too much. They can spin any story in any way they want.

Even the DeRozan side of it has been annoying too. People make fun of how much he chokes in the playoffs and how Raptors need to move on and stop being the definition of insanity, but the moment the Raptors actually do something different, they rip Raptors for moving on from DeRozan.

What I hate even more is how these clickbait things work. Not only in getting clicks, but making people actually believing them, being influenced by these things and writing it off as fact.
