    Spoiler

But you got a player like RJ Barrett here below. I was trying to show this play to someone. You know I get having that Mamba mode mentality. Every team needs it. But this situation below should never happen. You have a 3 on one break and you don't give it up. Like come on RJ!.

Who's the guy I should be looking at for when the Knicks finish the season with the worst record in the league and end up with the 5th pick? Trying to let myself down easy in advance.

Probably somewhere in Europe playing in some D-League of EuroHoops.

It'll be a big man who doesn't fit with KP or a crappy guard/wing who plays no defense.

As a UNC fan, that's looking like Nasir Little.

I just don't understand those who would draft Barrett ahead of Zion.

Yeah it's crazy lol. I love RJ I think he's going to be really good once in the league. Because he's a foul drawing machine. But he's other problem is he doesn't always take the best shots. And I think it's works sometime and others it looks bad.

I hear folks saying he's a better fit for the NBA game and I'm just like "is he?". The same questions I've seen people have for Zion(shooting, ball handling, how he will matchup against NBA size and athletes) is the same concerns Barrett has. And he doesn't have the freak athleticism Zion has to help him out.
This doesn't even take into account the whole poor shot selection, shot hunting concerns.

And I say this as a big RJ fan. He's just not on Zion's level as a prospect.

One of the things for about Zion. Is he's so different from anyone We're seen in a long time. Obviously the stats below make people want to know more. As of right now. I like him overall because he makes the right play each and everytime. And I think his biggest thing I love is his Hustle. So many players that are in his position coast so much. But with him... that is never a question. That's pretty amazing in my opinion.

But you can see small improvments in his game over this pass season. Which is all I ask for out the players that get drafted. Is improve on something. It doesn't have to be the biggest weakest like shooting. It could be anything.

Dude plays good defense (even his blocks are jaw dropping) and has a good motor. One thing I believe is all the open lanes and "bullying" to get to the rim will be WAY less available in the NBA. I'd comment on his jumoshot but I never see it. My worry with Zion is if he goes thru a DRose injury...and loses the incredible athleticism...what else is there?

...this is why I'd probably prefer RJ over Zion right now.

I think this goes either way and personally I'm on the flipside. I think he's going to have more lanes and space in the NBA due to the nature of the game as opposed to the goat **** that is college basketball. Zion attacking closeouts and in transition in a modern NBA offense is terrifying. There is no one in the league to put on him. He's too quick for stretch 4s and too strong for smaller guys. He'll have an adjustment period where he learns who he can go through and when he has to go around people but I like that he's shown a good touch around the rim in situations where he can't dunk. A lot of these freak athletes aren't great finishers when they can't dunk.

I also think his handle is better than everyone gives him credit for. The only thing I'm worried about is his jumper. I think there's enough of everything else: handles, passing, IQ, hustle/motor, rebounding, defense, lack of ego/divaness.

Today's game is all about the 3...you're asking Zion to play 90s and 2000 style basketball. I just dont see that being effective without the threat of popping a 3 like Harden or Westbrook...or LeBron.
