Alright, I guess we'll just have to wait.

I love him. I think he could work his way into the top with a good run in the tournament. But at this point. I would say bottom 15.

He's somebody I'd like on my team.

              Re: NBA Draft 2019

DX/Givony currently has him 8th. I find him intriguing based on the fact that he's listed at 6'5" but is clearly bigger than that. I read The Stepian's article on him and then watched his tape vs Duke and he looks every bit the size of Reddish and Barrett. Him at 6'5" isn't all that exciting of a prospect. Him at 6'8" (he's supposedly still growing) or even 6'9" would put him into the Top 5.

I'm a bit surprised that Givony has Cam at #4 and Romeo Langford at #5, though his list isn't that fluid until after the college season ends and teams get a close-up look at these guys in workouts. Reddish I can at least see the intrigue--a bigger wing who can shoot--but Romeo does nothing for me. It's wild that he's shooting 26% from three. That's crazy.

This weekend I did a lot of research on Morant and I've soured on him a bit. A deeper look into his numbers doesn't paint the prettiest picture. I'm back to not knowing who to put at #2.

Barrett's resurgence recently has put him firmly in the #2 spot for me. His efficiency in ACC play, along with his emerging court vision and passing ability make him look like a superstar wing player.

He reminds me of the College version of Luka Doncic. Luka is more polished, but Barrett is more athletic and has a better defensive upside.

His ACC play has me hyped for Barrett after his disappointing pre ACC play.

                  Romeo is all potential.
He is on a horrible team and teams are double teaming him a lot.
Put him on Duke and he is getting open shots and shooting better than 26% from 3.
Its hard to judge him too because they run NO plays for him at all, its really crazy.
At least 10 times a game he gets the ball 25 foot from the basket with 5 seconds left on the shot clock and has to force up something.
Its a shame that Archie has no idea how to use him and is going to waste his one year at IU.

I like him overall because he makes the right play each and everytime. And I think his biggest thing I love is his Hustle. So many players that are in his position coast so much. But with him... that is never a question. That's pretty amazing in my opinion.

Yeah he's good man. It either shows he's got high IQ or he doesn't step outside of himself much. Almost like a Ben Simmions "I don't need to shoot". But you can see small improvments in his game over this pass season. Which is all I ask for out the players that get drafted. Is improve on something. It doesn't have to be the biggest weakest like shooting. It could be anything.

jeebs, you don't have to convince this Knicks fan about Zion, lol.

When I watched the 1985 Draft 34 years ago, I ran through my parents house screaming like a wild woman when the Pacers got the #2 pick. I hoping, praying to do the same June 2.

Totally agree..... They haven't used hims effectively at all. To me it's crazy he picked this school of all of them.

I see a lot of people here like to bring up numbers. And I just don't think it's fair to jump all over them, No seriously, it doesn't make any sense. Some players are just in bad situations. Some players are still trying to figure it out. And lastly some players are just not fit for college basketball. If it's not the hand checking. Or zone defense. Or 3 in the key. i said this last year. Just because a player can't do something. Or a number shows something. Doesn't mean a player can't improve. I remember Vince Carter had this weird tag that he couldn't go left.

A lot of players have this things that follow them around.

I'll always remember going to LeBron James game his rookie year vs the Knicks. During shoot around (I got there early)... I was completely confused.... He was shooting with his left hand the whole time. And they were going in. This man is left handed. But shoot with his right during game. And left handed during shoot around. WTH. I always thought it was crazy when people said force him left.

The Ringer finally put up their first--at least to my knowledge--mock draft of the year. I like where they're head's at and they're buying into the burgeoning Culver intrigue.

Outside of Zion Williamson’s position at the very top of the class, there is little consensus in this year’s draft. Things will inevitably get weird come June, and weird is what our resident draftniks do best. Here are their 14 top prospects.

                          Top 5
                          1. Zion
                          2. Culver
                          3. Morant
                          4. Hunter
                          5. Barrett

                            5. Barrett
Not a chance in hell I let Barrett slip back that far... He has some areas to work on sure, but he has too much of that Brandon Roy, James Harden type of game to him to make me believe he'll be a bad pro.. Really to me he's the safest pick in the draft, though Zion's potential trumps all.

Morant scares me a bit. He went from a guy who looked like he could be the sleeper of the draft to all of a sudden vaulted into the top 3. He seems like a guy who could get off to a great start like Fox or Westbrook but also has the highest bust potential IMO.. A bit of a risk for the top 3.
