His more ideal target would be a super athletic Draymond.. but skill and IQ wise Draymond seems quite a ways ahead.

Even Bennett seemed to have a better read for tempo and pace, better shooting touch, and better post game.. he was still a bust.

The unique athleticism will keep him around, he won’t be a bust, but until he shows better pace control, and that Blake Griffin like ability to face and go and finish over real bigs inside his insane athletic ability isn’t going to be catching my eyes for anything other than the dunk contest and fast breaks.

    I mean.

Draymond has 10 more years of playing high level basketball than Zion does, so one would expect him to have a higher IQ and skill level....

Not...not sure what you were getting at here.

Yep exactly. Part of the reason I don't believe Zion comes in as a top 5 pick and just kills it as a rookie.

My bad I started a another thread and totally forgot about this one lol. Please close the other one.

I just want to say Zion has way my skill then people think.

I like RJ pace. He keeps things of balance. He's a really hard cover.

Cam is another player that could average 30 for any NBA team lol

Well, as advertised Cam and RJ look like the top two picks in this years draft.

                Re: NBA Draft 2019

Zion just looks like he’s going 100 miles an hour and out of control about 90% of the time. It worked out for him tonight, I don’t think that instantly works in the league. I’m not down on him, but I need a hell of a lot more than one game to give me confidence in someone who looks like wild if I’m snagging him with a top 3 pick.

He reminds me somewhat of Lance. Like everything he does looks so goofy and unorthodox that when it works you just shake your head and laugh lol.

Did you just compare Lance Stevenson to Zion Williamson? LMAO...

I feel like you definitely didn't watch any of the videos and his game.

This is sloppy play? Am I missing something?

Funny, that's exactly what I thought of Barrett and felt Zion was the one more often in control.

To me it's about finishing the play. Whether its a pass or layup.

And if we're talking NBA. Yeah these guys are going to be even better. In a iso heavy league.

And this pass. I can't tell you how many times I've seen young guys get charges in this situation becaus they feel the need to jump to make this pass.

I don't have time to find the clips but there were several plays where Barrett drove into traffic and threw up an awkward shot that had no chance of going in.

I'll find them for you. I've broken their whole games last night. Every shot and turnover. Give me a few.

I haven't even had a chance to really collect my thoughts on Barrett and Reddish because I was so blown away by Zion. He looked better against Kentucky than he did against the midgets he faced in high school. I don't think I could have been more impressed with his debut.

Kentucky's bigs looked terrified of him though. Maybe with good reason lol. I still need to see him against someone who doesn't care that he's a man amongst boys because they are also men. I'm not going to have a good feel on him until there is more to go by. Athletically speaking, he's one of a kind. Could you imagine if he was maybe 3 inches taller.
