One good game and Kobe fans are gloating? Boy, things have really sunk to a new low for Kobe and his fans. How about keeping things in perspective. Kobe is still shooting near 40 % for the year. He is far from an MVP candidate. He had a hell of a game, but it was also against Sacto, a marginal defensive team, as they've been for years. If that team had even a solid D, they'd won championships already.

It isn't one game. There's this misperception that Kobe is a selfish ballhog and cannot play with his teammates, when actually on the court, he is play some great team basketball. Today's game was just another example and since it was Kings fans that made the video, it's just to use a game against the Kings as an example of Kobe's team game.

Don't forget, Doug Christie was guarding Kobe and Kobe was still demanding double teams. Christie has made All-Defensive Team for the last 4 or so years.

kobe fans aren't gloating, its funny to watch the people that dont like kobe suddenly ask, "why do the kings suck blah blah blah"

then they get a win against one of the top teams in the west, then everyone is like, "oh its cuase...kings defense...sucks...yea.." its like you guys never watch BBALL or you'd know that anything can happen on any given day, for example you'd know that when the lakers had shaq they struggled to beat the kings, they got beat by the bulls, etc etc. even in their dynasty days

its not surprising to me that the lakers beat the kings, but if the lakers then go on and play consistent good bball, then i will be surprised

You forgot to mention Doug Christie is nearly 35 years old. Even the great one's lose a lot by that age, especially 2 guards. Christie is a shadow of his former self defensively, due to age, and wear and tear. And it's not just Christie's defense that is bad, it's the whole team. Kobe had a great game, but again, this isn't the Bad Boys were talking about, this is the porous defense. as to this game proving Kobe's not a ballhog, I'll simply point out Kobe is leading the league in scoring, yet shooting 40 %. You have to take a TON of shots to average 27 pts, yet shoot 40 %. Oh, I actually noticed Lamar Odom for the first time last night. Its about time he got the ball!!!

Anyone notice how on many occasions tonight Steve Kerr kept referring to Kobe's game tonight being "MJ-like", or how bout him saying Kobe is the "greatest perimeter player in the world". Ahh well what does he know, he only played with MJ for what, 4-5 years?

There's some fuel for your fire haters...

I'm sure you'll run wild with this one...

Who never feel the slightest shame for changing hats from game to game.
The players come and then they go, but one thing for certain that I know,

Kobe's got a career high in assists thus far this season with 6.8 per and is shooting one less shot per game than the last 5 seasons at 20 shots per game.
