Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
I just don't see Kawhi in LA. Doesn't mean I think he'd stay in Toronto, but just doesn't make sense based on what we know about the type of guy he is.
Which would surprise people more. Quiet guy like Kawhi playing in front that LA media, especially as a Laker, or a guy as soft skin as Durant playing in front the harsh media and fanbase of NY? Just don't see those types of moves happening.
If he wants to go closer to home and cares about winning, but also keep a lower profile, what if he surprises everyone and join Phoenix.
Sure they suck now, but what could we see from a team with lineup of:
Ayton
Zion
Kawhi
Booker
Warren + Bucks 1st would probably bring in a good PG for that team.Last edited by Majingir; 03-16-2019, 11:41 PM.Comment

Idk if he would go to the Lakers or not, I just meant that LeBron knows what he’s doing saying that loud enough for the media to hear, not covering his mouth. He’s just toying with them at this point.

Zion in Phoenix with that lineup sounds like a good time, and I mean no disrespect to any Suns fan who might happen to see this, but Phoenix is one of the last places I want to see the kid land.
Put him in Atlanta alongside Trae Young and them.Comment

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
I’d say it’s more stupid when you can just call each other and meet up to do your recruiting but you’re dumb enough to do it publicly or through the media and interviews where you know there are rules in place against that stuff. It makes sense to at least pretend that you care about protecting teams from having their contracted players being poached from them right in the paying customers faces. I love steak and I understand the process of providing me said steak, doesn’t mean I want the butchers killing cows and chopping them up in the middle of the aisle while I’m grocery shopping. Same logic applies with tampering. The guys could call each other and we’d never know if they didn’t tell us, that’s fine you really can’t police that, doesn’t mean we need to SEE right in our faces Kevin Durant publicly trying to steal Giannis from the Bucks to the Warriors for example.

Re: 2018-19 Transaction Thread
I still think Jimmer can be a good pro. He just needs someone to give him that greenlight to do what he does.Comment
