And also manage to deal an unprotected 1st in 2020, Mavs 1st rounder, Robinson and whatever else it takes to get the other top draft pick this year.

The Knicks are so got damn stupid that they outbid themselves on Hardaway, overpay for Lee, and then decide that the only way to fix this is to trade them. So they package them WITH THEIR 23 YEAR OLD FRANCHISE CENTERPIECE and trade them to a team FOR A PLAYER THEY COULD HAVE DRAFTED.

Didn’t they have hella cap space in 2016 and got nobody of significance?

Why would it be any different when the product hasn’t changed much from then? Y’all talking about dudes going from competent ran organizations like Golden State and Boston to this?

Kristaps Porzingis, who can become a restricted free agent this summer, has yet to make a decision on his future with Dallas, league sources tell ESPN. He expects to start the process of getting to know the organization soon. Porzingis will continue to rehab his ACL injury.

This could really blow up in the Mavs face if he leaves next summer. No 2019 pick, no 2021 pick, a couple bad contracts. Doncic could be the one demanding a trade before we know it.
