OK, I see some Kobe fans saying Kobe is the best in the L, or 2nd best. If not the best, I see Kobe's fans saying Timmy's best. Why is Miami 19-7. WTF do they have besides Dwayne Wade, that's solid. Not Eddie Jones he's 34 or something. Dwayne Wade had Odom and Caron, yet Miami was 42-40. Dwayne's better, but mostly b/c he has Shaq. I'll repeat that Miami is 19-7. They're on pace to win 60 games. Use your brains. LA didn't win 60 games last year w/Shaq. If Kobe is so great, why has Miami had an equally difficult schedule to the Lakers so far, and Miami's 19-7, and LA's 13-10. This is insane. Kobe fans do not using winning as justification as to who's the best player, unless it's in Kobe's favor. Kobe's fans always said Kobe was better than Tmac, b/c he was a leader, a winner , and more clutch. They pointed to the RINGS. Does LA look like there gonna win RINGS??? F8ck no. Miam, on the other hand, has played a couple games without Wade, their 2nd best player, and yet is 19-7, and getting better. Shaq is making Miami win. Shaq is playing TEAM ball. Shaq is getting 11 boards, 3 assists, 60.6 % fg, and 2.8 blocks. 21 pts. His team is WINNING.
Kobe fans that hate Shaq always say shaq doesn't have touch, neither did Chamberlain, you think Kobe's better than Chamberlain. They say Shaq can't hit game winners, he doesn't need to, he's winning games by playing 48 minutes of great ball. For all of Shaq's deficiencies, HIS team is 19-7. Shaq has the MVP, 3 Finals MVP's. Even now, at 32 yrs old, how can any Kobe fan say Kobe is better. Kobe has MORE talent than Shaq on his team, yet Miami is clearly the superior team. The record shows that. LA hasn't even played anybody. D8mnit, I automatically assumed that when Miami won 60 games and LA struggled to win 40 games, that Kobe fans would finally realize that Shaq is a much better player. I fully admit that Shaq has not much touch, although around the basket he does. But Ben Wallace doesn't average 27 pts for his career like Shaq, yet people routinely say he's a top 20 player for what he does. You can't say Shaq's not the best player, when he's won 3 RINGS primarily due to him. Shaq doesn't have Kobe, and it STILL DON'T MATTA. He's dominating, and most importantly, HIS team is dominating.
Lastly, Kobe fans say they think Kobe can be as good as Mike. Kobe isn't as good as 19 yr old wonderkid Lebron. Lebron probably won't be as good as Mike. So it makes no sense for Kobe fans to say 26 yr old Kobe will be as good as Mike. Kobe has no more upside, hes an 8 yr veteran. Lebron has 10 times the upside to get better and rival Mike, he's a 1 yr veteran w/ a 19 yr old body. Doctors say he's not done growing. He's gonna get more athletic, w/NBA trainers to work on his body for the next 7 years.
And Kobe fans never acknowledge that Since Kobe lost Shaq, Kobe is shooting 40.4 %. We all tried to tell Kobe fans that Shaq made Kobe's life easy. No double teams on Kobe w/Shaq around. We all said, Kobe would struggle, he is. 40.4 %. hmmm.. sounds a lot like iverson. You can't be the best player in the L when you can't make your shots. Wade and Lebron both make 50 % of their shots. Their very good or great players. I just think Kobe's whole game is overrated, b/c Shaq made Kobe. Look at the won-loss record, and Kobe's shot %, as TWO examples. Paul Pierce puts up a lot of points, rebounds and assists, but nobody says he's the next MJ. Kobe's game without Shaq is almost identical to Pierce's. he shoots that 40 %, his team is .500 or a little above. If Kobe keeps emulating Pierce, are their honestly gonna be Kobe fans arguing hes the best player in the L. Or the next MJ.
