Kobe is leaps and bounds better than Shaq, in terms of talent, value, and marketability (if Kobe wouldn't have had the rape charge)

Before the attempted 'character assissination' began last year, we would not even be having these arguments/debates....if they were the same age then my answer would be different but I will take a 25/26 year old SG (that is one of the best in the game period) with 8/9 years of experience and 3 world titles over a 11 year vet, whose injury-prone, 32 yrs old, and has no range outside of 5 feet....if the Heat ran across teams as good as the Pacers (with their full squad), Detroit, or any of the West's elite...Shaq would be show how overrated he is...he can dunk all he wants but his team won't beat the Elite teams..not anymore. Shaq is a man-child, and is too old to still behave the way he does, I wouldn't want that to be the face of my franchise...he's not a leader, he's a glory-seeker, that whines and complains as soon as things don't go his way. Wait until Jan. when Indiana is at full strength, and Shaq wears down...the Heat will be a 4 seed in the playoffs and out by the second round.

you say that about Shaq, but would you really want Kobe as your team leader? Perhaps Kobe circa 4 years ago, but not the Kobe now IMO...Kobe seems like a selfish ballhog who wants things done his way. He didn't always seem that way, this is just over the past few years that Kobe turned from more of a team player to this egomaniac

also, I'd personally rather have Shaq because a dominant big man is tough to find in the L, but a decent shooting guard is almost a dime a dozen...

Ahh, The Usual Suspects. It's funny all three of those guys are on my ignore list, because of their rediculous obsession with Kobe. Some threads I enter(I don't know why I even enter them I guess Its like looking at a car accident) 80% of the post are censored because its some nonsense by the three amigos.
