How many guys not named Al Horford can handle Embiid though? IMO he's the 3rd best post player in the NBA behind Aldridge and Towns.

Holy **** guys, this Pistons/Sixers game is incredible. Reddick with a 4pt play to put Sixers up 2 with 5 seconds, then Blake comes right back with an And-1 layup to put Detroit up 1. and it still aint over.

It feels like the Pistons-Raptors game last year that basically knocked the Pistons out of the playoff race.

So Blake gets 50 and Detroit beats a decent team (without their best player). MVP chants were going lol

I want you to tell me how Aldridge is better than Embiid? Towns is too inconsistent and has been exposed by jimmy butler.

Yeah that was flop city! but Embiid gets in Drummonds head way to easy. He just can't handle it.

Sometimes you just have to enjoy the moment, especially when moments have been tough to come by.

Embiid does these things because he knows it bothers opposing players and fans. He revels in it. He destroyed Andre Drummond mentally and physically all game so when he saw Drummond lift that elbow just a smidge, he knew it was over. All he cared about was the call, and he got the call.

That said, if the contact was as non-existent as it appeared, I would hope there'd be a warning from the league of some kind, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Hell yeah he is. I didn't think he could shoot like that. Philly had no answer. If Ben Simmons played though I feel like he would have been able to keep up with him.

Embiid is a better player no question, I'm just saying Aldridge is better in the post.
Last season their points per possession (PPP) on postups were basically the same, Aldridge with 0.99 and Embiid with 0.97 but Embiid turned it over 15% of the time compared to Aldridge's 6%. Plus the Spurs main lineup was Murray,Green,Anderson, Aldridge, Gasol which was terrible spacing whereas the 76ers main lineup was Simmons, Reddick, Covington, Saric Embiid which is decent spacing.

hell yeah, that was fun! even in a dorky fan way

It's gotta be frustrating for a guy like Drummond who has been the "big athletic monster" his whole life, and then Embiid shows up and is even bigger and better. It'd get in my head too

                                Blake is so weird.

How do you go from being bad at freethrow shooting. To average to good at freethrow shooting. Then regress back to bad freethrow shooting?

And is it me, or did JJ Redick seriously get that much better with age or is Philadelphia's system allowing him that much more freedom to hoist up shots on offense?
