Milwaukee won't touch Golden State; nobody will. But I am beginning to think they might be able to make some noise in the East this year. Obviously the season is still very very young though.

Bulls are dropping like flies now. Bobby Portis underwent an MRI this morning and will be out for at least a month with a knee injury.

I'm pretty surprised at Cleveland's poor start, I thought they could compete for a playoff spot at least but not looking like it.

If they stay worst or near the worst team in the league, since it's essentially the same team that surrounded LeBron in the Finals, does it make the fact that LeBron took that team to the Finals (and also was a JR-blunder away from possibly not getting swept) that much more impressive?

Right now Kuz seems like a really great fit next to Lebron.

They started off going the developmental route by playing the young guys and then yesterday they reversed course and decide “Yeah, we’re going to play our Vets as well”.

I’ll be shocked if they go winless over the next 6 because while their roster isn’t “they can easily contend for a playoff spot even in the East” good, it’s also not “worst team in the league by far” bad either.

Remember this offseason when Tristan Thompson said there's no reason he couldn't be a superstar now?

It already was extremely impressive to anyone without an anti-LeBron bias, but yeah it'll be more so.

Makes no difference to me. This team was definately trash and built with Lebron holding the ball and making plays on every possession in mind. Lebron was phenomenal last playoffs no doubt.

Exactly. It's like the year Peyton got hurt and the Colts were trash and people were trying to give him MVP lol. We know how great he is, that's the least surprising part of any of this.

I think it was impressive already.. I mean I don't know how much more you can gas him up for what was ultimately a losing effort, but everyone who watched them play could see that other than Bron's brilliance they were largely outplayed as a whole by both Indiana and Boston. Love killed Toronto, but those other two series it was like LeBron and then the next 5-6 best players were on Indy and Boston. They should have lost in the first round, that was a horrible matchup for them and on the series Indiana outscored them by like 6 or 7 points if I remember right. Also would have likely lost to Boston with Hayward or Kyrie back, and maybe still if Boston would have shot better in the last game, I think the fact they made it as far as they did already makes it pretty damn impressive.

They really need something from Hood. I thought he would bounce back with the pressure off but he still looks awful. Clarkson will likely never be more than a spark plug, and Love's shooting is still pathetic to start this season. Hard to tell how much of a role Lue plays in this, I think he's a great coach but more so in terms of being an assistant coach and relating to the players. I don't know if he can really put together the structure he wants, he seems to be unable to get anything out of anyone who isn't a vet for two years now and had the same problems with Kyrie.

I would almost rather see them try and start fresh with Cedi and Sexton. Somebody will trade for Love, Hill, Korver, and Hood IMO. Get a couple picks, maybe a young player who isn't getting the run he needs and go from there.

I didn't get a chance to watch the Philly/Bucks game, but our son was at the game.

Lopez shot 5 of 5 from 3 in the first half and without him, there might have been a different outcome.

Our son said, well, if Embiid isn't going to guard the 3, and you have a center that can shoot the 3, chances are a open Lopez might get hot from 3 land.

I’ll give it more than 4 games before I start coming to any conclusions regarding Coaching, especially since again, they went with 2 different plans and then changed up midway thru.
