serious question: why does everyone assume ingram has such incredible potential aside from being 6'10 and very lengthy? it doesnt even seem like he was a great scorer in college.

Tyreke Evans has been dreadful this season. Thought that was a good pickup, but he has been trash so far. Last night he blocked his own layup attempt. 🤦*♂️

Re: 11/27 - 12/3 Games Discussion Thread
There were some people who saw that he was a lanky gifted scorer at Duke and started throwing out KD comparisons.. That's basically how it started. Somewhat like this Zion/LeBron thing because he can do the LeBron dunk and he's big.. That's pretty much the gist of it.
The people who are a bit more realistic, I think they saw him play really well as a more dominant ball guy when Lonzo went out last year. He played well in that stretch and his numbers jumped a bit. I think it's less that people think he will be some all time great scorer and more so that his strengths seem to lead you to think this his best role would be a primary scoring role. For me, this preseason he played so hard off ball, lots of cutting and movement, I expected him to average 20ish a game this year honestly.. But I didn't expect him to stop cutting, and I thought he would be taking and making a couple more outside shots as well. I also expected him to play more minutes, but it feels like they pull him early and try to play him in LeBron's spot when LeBron sits after that.
I saw something the other day that when LeBron is out and he assumes the LeBron role he is scoring like 24 per 36 or something like that. I think the scoring ability is there, I'm just not sold that he can bring it out as the 2nd, 3rd option type of guy. This preseason it looked like he could, so many easy looks off of really hard cuts, but that's somewhat disappeared now. He just seems more comfortable and confident when he is taking on the "go to" role.Comment

Depends on who you're asking, some people have been calling him trash for a couple years now lol.

and they've been legit bad without them. Raptors are good but that's not really a performance that screams NBA finals preview. KD went KD but Raptors should've blown them out.Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics

Re: 11/27 - 12/3 Games Discussion Thread
A key man in the recent success of the Clippers has been Danilo Gallinari.
At roughly 6-10 and 225 pounds he is the Clippers not-so-small small forward. Indeed, his size invariably creates mismatches which he takes full advantage of. He efficiently moves off of weak-side screens to bury trey balls (currently at 47%!). He can back smaller defenders into the paint and shoot turnaround jumpers. Since defenders are advised to stay in his face he will use a vast assortment of ball fakes to open up his drives into the paint. His long balls need to be clicking because his drives are slow motion and in straight lines lacking any change of direction moves. At the rim he isn't a very good finisher.
Gallo's size gives him an unobstructed view of the court and he is an unselfish and alert passer but not on the move.
He can hold his own in a rebounding scrum which is why he sports a healthy rebound percentage of 1 for every 5.14 minutes of action, exceeding the standard of 1:6 expected for a small forward.
Given his ACL miseries his position defense is surprisingly adequate. His lateral quickness has always been lacking so speedy ball-handlers can beat him off the dribble (though almost every NBA player has trouble staying in front of speedsters).
Good player. Glad he is finding some more consistency with his game.Last edited by AlexBrady; 11-30-2018, 04:25 PM.Comment

This year's Spurs team is terrible. No three - point shooters (Belinelli has been garbage) and wing defenders.
They are going to need a hard reset, dumping a lot of the veterans and rebuilding in earnest. I know Pop wants to stay "competitive," but this is a lifeless, defense less group with little upside (minus Murray, Walker, White, Metu & Poetl).
Two pathetic performances in a row and we haven't even hit December, yet.
