Exactly. If anyone else saw what happened, Brown was really gunning for a piece of that refs arse. You would of thought that ref threatened his family or something. It could of been because the ref did'nt acknowledge him, I can understand that. But Brown was chewing him as well as the other refs out the entire game as his Pistons team never got ahold of the lead. So if you use common sense and think of all the rants Brown had with the refs that game(I'm sure most of them were explicit) then I'm sure that ref was just tryna avoid a direct confrontation with Brown after the game. Brown probably had some nice words to say to the ref after the game and the ref was just tryna avoid him because he knew what was coming.

BTW, during all of Brown's tantrum, the ref just looked him in the eyes, stood there and said nothing the entire time.

boo hoo, the ref didnt want to talk to me...is there a rule that the refs have to talk to you anyway?? Its a privilage if the refs explain to you reasons for they're calls. They don't have to do it.

Larry Brown didn't knock a "Where's Waldo" lookalike out either.

heres my take on this. Larry Brown is stressed out. he loves basketball so much that what he saw at the Malace at the Palace has drained his passion for the game. couple that with coaching the Olympic team all summer...really when has he had a down time? i think like mike wilbon said on PTI today..he should take some time off maybe even to the all-star break and then come back. nobody loves basketball as much as Larry Brown. for a tarhole hes not half bad. there i said it.

Coach Larry Brown was fined $15,000 by the NBA for verbal abuse of an official, a day after he had to be restrained during a postgame argument with referee Anthony Jordan.

Brown's confrontation with Jordan occurred following the Pistons' 89-82 loss to the Bulls in Detroit on Wednesday night.

"The guy wouldn't talk to me during the game, and I can't understand that -- I wasn't being discourteous," Brown said after the game. "Well, maybe I was at the end, and I suppose I'll hear about that."

Larry Brown isnt a 6'6 built like a bull athlete that could actually do some damage. if Brown had gotten up in the refs face and hit him or something like that he would have gotten his butt handed to him. to compare an old man like Larry arguing with a ref to Ron Artest assaulting someone doesnt make sense
