I don't get why they don't just add a legacy player in somehow and have Wade make it and not take away from someone younger who is more deserving.

At this point I think the best thing to do to make everyone happy is for Wade to be a injury substitute for someone like Vic so the player who earned it this year can be a all-star and so can Wade for the legacy reasons

I would say he deserves one fairly easily if the reserves are still by conference.. The East are down a guard with Vic out. His competition is like Beal and Simmons as far as guys who would have a good chance of beating him out without argument. Outside of that the higher scoring guards are Russell, LaVine, Tim Jr., Redick, Richardson, if one of those guys get in above him I think we could call it a snub.

No offense to Wade, but I wouldn't put him in a Kobe category. I think those "legacy all-star" selections should be saved for the best of the best. The Jordan,Kobe,LeBron level of players.

People didn't vote Wade so much because of his final year, he's been getting so many votes every season so it's not like he would've been voted in because it's his last year.

Wade is the “Best of the Best” especially at his position, which he happens to share with 2 other “Best of the Best” in MJ/Kobe.

He’ll definitely have an argument for being the 2nd/3rd best SG ever, especially since his resume is right up there with Kobe outside of being 2 Rings, some MVPs short and a couple thousand points short, which I’m sure nobody is gonna knock Wade for, considering how Kobe jacking in his last few years.

Wouldn’t be mad if Dirk was added to the roster as well. It’s their final year so it won’t hurt anyone nor will it affect the game or the “integrity” of it if Silver adds those 2 to the game.
