    Shaq effect this year.

I could write a book about what people on this board are gonna do. Miami is 22-7, in the East. This is the conference that won the title last year. Detroit won something like 52 games there last year. They whipped the best the West had to offer. LA was dominated. Only Shaq, and his 28 pts on 65 % could muster any sort of challenge. Yet LA beat Minny, San Antonio, but couldn't even give Detroit a challenge. Detroit, on the other hand, barely beat New Jersey, struggled against Indiana, etc. So for all the talk about Miami having a good record b/c there in the East, what do you say about the fact that the East whipped the West's arse. Now the West is deeper, but like I also pointed out, Detroit struggled more against Indiana AND New Jersey then the West's best.

I suspect the whining has to do w/making excuses. When Shaq got traded, I knew that people who didn't care for him would make excuses if Miami did well this season. I could have predicted it. Here's another prediction. If Kobe misses the playoffs this year, Kobe fans will say that Kobe is young, will win a title if he gets a decent supporting cast, and that LA was smart to get rid of Shaq b/c he's old and would consume the cap. It's already starting. If Miami wins the championship, they'll say it was due to Dwayne Wade. Honestly, if people looked at the things their posting, they would admit it's ridiculous all the excuses, and hating.

Kobe fans say everyone's a *****, but yet they go out of their way to make excuses for Miami's record, or criticize Shaq whenever his play leads to wins for Miami. Think about that. If Kobe fans can't admit the obvious, that Shaq has made his team a WINNER this year, and that LA at 14-12, is a faaar cry from what they were when Shaq was there, then there own claims that we are all HATERS, pretty much says hypocrisy.

Why can't some people admit the obvious and just be humble. Since LA got rid of Shaq, they are no longer a GOOD team. Miami is now that they have Shaq. Give Shaq tons of credits, he's doing what he claimed he would do. He said he's a winner. He said he played team ball. He's making Miami very good. In fact, there record in the weak East is actually better than Detroit was just last season, and they did pretty good against the West if I recall. Not only that, teams like Cleveland, Washington, and Orlando made major additions and our better this year. The East got rid of New Orleans, a team without their two best players all year, Davis and Magloire.

And the best the West had to offer was none other than Shaq and LA. So quit making excuses about Miami/shaq, now that things are going badly for LA. Don't call us Haters, then go bag on Shaq and say that he's not been amazing and made Miami a very good team. If the roles reversed, you'd be hatin on shaq saying, oh Shaq is overrated, look his team is .500, and Kobe is leading a dynasty. If people would just be fair and not say stuff that isn't true, people on this board would get along great. How are we supposed to respect people if they can't acknowledge the truth and not make all these excuses, and hate Shaq?

    I thought you were done.....

    And this line is funny

How are we supposed to respect people if they can't acknowledge the truth and not make all these excuses, and hate Shaq?
    -------------------

Cause the one thing that came to mind to me was when te Lakers beat the Kings and Kobe played his best game all year, instead of giving him credit for a great game, someone makes a post about how Sacramento sucks. LOL.

And we cant respect each other if some people hate Shaq, but we CAN if people hate the other guy?

I think everyone on this board knows you're gonna make a sugar coated Shaq thread every hour when we know this thread is really about your idol and daily facination with Kobe. Is your name Katie Faber?
The true fan always know his bounds, unlike the wagon-jumping hounds,
Who never feel the slightest shame for changing hats from game to game.
The players come and then they go, but one thing for certain that I know,
With purple hearts we take a stand.... for loyal is the Viking Fan.

You're upset over ONE game???? One game???? HOw about what's happened this season? If you are upset b/c you think Kobe didn't get enough credit over one game, what about Shaq fans upset over his not getting respect and credit for almost 30 games? That too me is this whole thing in a nutshell. You wanna gloat or make a big deal over ONE game, and non Kobe fans simply aren't that excited. It's not personal, it's just that we see the bigger picture. We have a hard time getting all excited for you and your boy when he had a good GAME. I don't see 87 posts over Iversons 20000000 points he scored in those 3 games. Kobe had one good game, congratulations. He played GREAT for that GAME. Okay, do you feel better? Now the rest of us wanna talk about who's playing great for the SEASON, or what TEAM has done well for the SEASON. You just don't get it.

Superfreak, that's a classic ex. of a Kobe fan just hating. You can't dispute the facts, so instead you resort to saying dumb stuff like "*****", or you "love Shaq." Classic gradeschool stuff. I love when Kobe fans come up with such insightful basketball comments. Remember attack the argument, not the person.

And my point about the Kings game was in response to you saying people cant acknowledge the TRUTH and stop making excuses....what difference does it make if the truth and excuses span over one game or one season, excuses are excuses.
