Re: Shaq effect this year.
Is it surprising that you want to emphasize one game over the whole season? Coincidence? think not. Let's look at the bigger picture, the whole season. Once again, we are looking at the 26 games he's played, not just 1 or 2 games here and there. If we did that, we'd be haters, but I ain't gonna judge Kobe over one game, I'm gonna be fair and look at ALL his games. Ironic that we get called haters, yet we're the ones trying to point out the whole season, not a bad game here or there. I post his season stats, which is very fair. We don't have to resort to hate, etc. because it's not just about a bad game here or there, all players have them. We are looking at the season, so far. That's what proves a point, not one game.Comment

It might be just me, but I think most players in the league would kill for Kobe's numbers this year. What's so bad about his numbers? Enlighten me. He's only shooting 3% from the floor lower than last year, and last year he had Shaq so you can throw that away.
Let the entourage of haters bring their wrath at me....
BTW I'd suggest some of you actually watch a Lakers game. The true fan always know his bounds, unlike the wagon-jumping hounds,

Re: Shaq effect this year.
I guess I miss your point. I'm focusing on the season's games, all of them. You keep trying to make me argue about one game Kobe had. i guess I'm not caught up with one game. It's not fair to judge a player by one game. Fairness is by using a bunch of games, to determine a players success. If you're upset over one game, you can always see a shrink. I don't remember Tmac's game against the Spurs to be honest w/you, I'm more concerned w/Houston's 13-14 record. But I don't know what that has to do with Shaq and Miami's great season, or how Shaq has done without LA. That's the point, all 29 games so far. I guess you get into the playoffs based on 82 games, not one magical night in December. Anyway. I'm saying that we look at a lot of games, we don't get caught up in one game. I'm not trying to steer this thread into focusing on one game here or there, if I picked out his worst game, or best game, it'd look kinda funny, and I'd get called a *****, or LOVER depending on the situation. I'm not going there, that wasn't the intent of my thread. I never brough up one game in the thread's opening. I'm more concerned with all the games played.Comment

Re: Shaq effect this year.
Wow, 39 % is bad for most players. I know the league average is around 45 %, so if you go by most players, that is bad. BTW, I saw an amazing stat last night. The Cavs are 16-1 when shooting a higher % than other team, 0-10 when shooting a lower %. It's pretty obvous for every team that when you shoot a higher %, it makes winning easy. That's why for me shooting a bad % is a BIG DEAL. You only get so many chances to score, and if u don't, the other team will, and you're hurting your teams ability to win.Comment
