Wade is a much better scorer in terms of efficiency(49 % to 40 %),

This isnt the point of the thread but is it fair to compare those particular numbers when Wade has a player like Shaq on his team? Again, its not the point of the thread but you brought it up and it doesnt seem right since of course Wade is gonna shoot a high percentage with Shaq on the team.

LeBron can go end to end handling the ball plus, as someone said, his passing skills set him apart. His not as good as Garnett in the paint but LeBron is the Queen of the chessboard.

If its in transition I say LeBron. If its out of a half-court set I might give the edge to Wade.

It would also help to determine "the future." What defines the future? A successful team, or just a great player on a mediocre team?

Wade is the future if it's defined by the team, because he will adjust and work better with Shaq than Kobe did IMO.

Lebron might (emphasis on might) be a better baller than Wade, but his team is mediocre and thus he will standout more because he doesn't have the talent around him that Wade does.

So yes, Lebron may put up better numbers, but Wade is immersed in more of a successful team atmosphere and to me, that is a key part of being "the future." Otherwise, you are just a superstar among scrubs, and that gets you nowhere outside of yourself.

Not to start a war but if you think about it Wade has to spread the ball around more...Shaq needs his touches, D.Jones needs his 3's, and Eddy, well eddy needs his touches too(i guess)...

I just think hes getting overlooked again...
