This is the biggest concern with MIL. When Giannis can't do what he does--get going downhill and overpower defenders--MIL isn't the same team. They're a bit of a one-trick pony, though 90-95% of the teams in the NBA can't stop it so it's typically not a big deal.

I really don't know what adjustments they're going to make. Billups suggested getting Giannis more touches closer to the rim but against Horford/Baynes that's easier said than done. Maybe run Horford off some off-ball screens to get Giannis the ball in-motion more often. If they aren't going to adjust and continue to have Giannis try to barrel through Horford and Baynes this may not be a very long series.

Giannis needs to pass it out more to the wing shooters vs trying to make something happen when he's double or triple teamed going into the hole and the shooters need to make more of the shots.

Milwaukee very rarely shoots 34% per game.

He was probably the 3rd best player on the floor for either team. It was just an odd night to go at him lol.

All I said was "7-17 at least he's consistent".

If that makes vaginas bleed then so be it.

I don't really care. Y'all axed DeRozan and blamed him, so I'm just keeping progress on the other all-star.

There definitely seems to be a move towards ignoring efficiency and FG% in general with all these guys these days.

7/17 for 20 points is considered a good night, even though he played 42 minutes in a losing effort. 20/5/5 looks good on paper, I guess.

All that does is make Durant and LeBron look more like gods by comparison, so whatever.

NBAs response 2 days after the whole Rockets-Warriors situation:

Scott Foster announced for Rockets game (as mentioned in the west thread)

              and now...Tony Brothers gets Bucks/Celtics.

Nobody was complaining about fouls in the Bucks/Celtics game and releasing year old reports.

But usually if something happens in one game when it comes to officiating, others get impacted too.

Usually stemming from a "league memo" to refs.

I guess my point was there’s a different player every year and every round.

I don’t think anyone insinuated it was a good night, it was just odd timing for the post considering how awful everyone else played as well and when the game looked like it was all but over Lowry knocked down THE two shots that gave them a shot at a comeback when Siakam and Kawhi had basically disappeared late..

                            Nothing was odd timing.

I just saw that his output was the same as the last game and pointed it out just as I did after last game.

The game itself was awful. It was brick city.

Hitting 2 threes then rushing your teammates into a bad shot at the end of the game trying to nutmeg the defense isn't anything to hang your hat on either.

Soo...Celtics/Bucks game 2. Who you guys got? I feel the Bucks bounce back tonight and tie things up. Gonna be interesting to see what adjustments they make, after Celtics had so much success slowing Giannis down in game 1.
