Go bucks. Giannis is absolutely the best player left in the east.

I dont think saying Giannis is the best player in the east is much of a hot take he deserves mvp. I'm rooting for the bucks. Still think Boston is the more talented team

The best part about watching the playoffs as a Knicks fan is after watching 60 of our games or so, this time of year looks like a completely different game... But what the Celtics did in that 3rd quarter was very familiar to me. Kyrie/Tatum combined 14 points on 6-28 shooting, missed or turned the ball over on 16 straight possessions at one point, that was just brutal.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

I was shouting it out loud in the first game. And was shouting last night when they finally started doing it. There is just no way that Boston can sell out on the weak side like they were doing without being punished by the Bucks 3 point shots

This stand out too!
This was after a few 3's dropped. Celtics could gap guys anymore.

Kyrie played one of his worst games in a long time. Bucks defense was all about letting him get to the rim and cleaning up.Last edited by jeebs9; 05-01-2019, 12:13 PM.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

THis is another play. Where I'm like yeah... Move the ball around. You should get a great look every single time Giannis drives into the lane.

Tatum was 19/6 on 50/50/50 That one is weird against one of the best defensive teams in the league the previous series. He's had a bad couple of games no doubt. He's prob got the one of the toughest matchups in this series but he's gotta be better.
In the Indiana Series it was more 3 Pointers and quick decisions rather than Isolation he's gotta get back to that.Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics

Giannis just absolutely abused Detroit. I'm not saying this cause of one game lol or the regular performance that is "irrelevant" take giannis 10/10 times.. Kawhi falls into second place if we are going to rank. With embiid third.

Would be interesting to look a bit deeper into advanced impact stats and see what all of them seem to see about their impact for their team and teammates.. but on the surface Giannis just does more in a nightly basis, and IMO has played a large role in his team’s success this season.
How that translate towards championships might be another argument. You can’t win a championship without a championship level team. It’s entirely possible for one player to be “better” but the other be a better fit alongside high-end talent teammates.

Yes agreed completely I think he does more defensively now a days even. His assists numbers are far far superior... rebounding as well. Not sure what Kawhi does better. I like Kawhi I'm just being realistic

Kawhi is definitely a better shooter, which comes in to play more than just hitting 3’s and spreading the floor. He has that “go get me a bucket” ability to where even if the defense takes it away from him he can rise up and stick a jumper in their face. Giannis definitely doesn’t have that yet, which was kinda my point in the previous post if you already have players who do all the things Giannis does someone like Kawhi might be a better fit for your success.. but there is little doubt in my mind on if you were to stick either of them on the worst team in the league which player would be able to transform them more. I think Giannis is just that type of difference maker. He does so much. Just not sure on if that means he’s by default the better fit on a championship caliber squad. Yet to be determined I guess.
