Looks like the Bucks get their 6 days of rest after all.

Our son and I will be attending our first ever ECF on that evening.

I called philly in 7 BEFORE the series started. I based it on embiid beasting which he really hasn't done but nonetheless.

              Raptors/76ers 2001:
              GM 1: Raptors win
              GM 2: 76ers win by 5
GM 3: 20+ point win by lower seed to take 2-1 series lead
GM 4: Higher seed wins by 5 to even series 2-2
GM 5: Higher seed wins by 30+ to take 3-2 series lead
GM 6: Lower seed wins by 10+ at home to force game 7

              Raptors/76ers 2019:
              GM 1: Raptors win
              GM 2: 76ers win by 5
GM 3: 20+ point win by lower seed to take 2-1 series lead
GM 4: Higher seed wins by 5 to even series 2-2
GM 5: Higher seed wins by 30+ to take 3-2 series lead
GM 6: Lower seed wins by 10+ at home to force game 7

Talk about eerie. And yes, as mentioned before, Raptors vs 76ers Game 7, winner plays the Bucks.

I'm don't think I can give you a straight answer on that one.

We share season tickets with 7 other couples, 5 games per year.

My wife asked if we wanted playoff tickets (duh lol) and we pay a pretty good chunk up front before the playoffs begin for each series. I didn't ask my wife how much it set us back. I'm sure the ECF is priced more than the Celtics series and the finals, if they reach them, are priced higher vs ECF. We have home games 6 and 12.

Our son wanted to go to last night's game and he said it was to pricey for him. He tries to wait till the last minute. I heard they were going for over 100 bucks in the nosebleeds last night.

Edit- I forgot to mention, the season tickets are in the lower corner of the court(endline) about 5 rows up from the floor. That will make a difference on pricing, too.

I think they can and it will go 7. I think the teams are pretty even. 76ers I think have the better chances though.

This 2-2-1-1-1 format just seems more conducive to longer series.

Years ago I had a random thought that all rounds should be 2-3-2 to get them over faster but the catch would be that the higher seed can choose if they want the first 2 at home or the 3 straight. Would make things more interesting IMO.

I heard a similar thing suggested on TV in the past.

Home team chooses if they want first 2 at home or game 3-4 at home. Obviously 7 is at home too, so format either ends up 2-3-1-1 or 2-2-1-1-1.

For various reasons. First game or two in series are at times hardest fought matchups, many times we do see a split. So more pressure on lower seed to start, and gives higher seed up to 3 home games where a clinch could happen.
