The Nuggets are extending a qualifying offer to F Trey Lyles, who'll become a restricted free agent, league sources tell ESPN.

These guys are already deep, they need another star player.

Pretty sure they won't have enough unless they can move Wiggins/Teague + Dieng.

That picture of Woj in a Clipper uni floating out there is hilarious.

I wonder which dominoes fall first tomorrow (if at all).

I don't know if that one or the Ainge/Puppet one is better.

              Not surprised at this.

Think I read that even if they throw an offer sheet at him, the clock for us to match wouldn’t start until the 6th so hopefully we’ll know by then if we’ve gotten Kyrie and/or KD, which I’m still skeptical of because remember...we’re still the Nets and Nets things always happen to us.

OMG man their guards are super selfish and Wiggins is equally passive.

It's a crazy dynamic and I'd try to move the backcourt.

I really hope Kawhi doesn’t do this man. Don’t give this garbage *** fan base (y’all Laker dudes on OS are thankfully cool as hell. I hate the rest of your fan base tho) this kind of gift man. These dudes already out here with Kawhi murals

                  IMG_6759.JPG

It really sucks that the Lakers have literally done NOTHING right in this entire process but exist in LA and they’re going to get everything the rest of the league gets punished for. If you’re Chicago or Cleveland or Charlotte or Sacramento or one of these places and you have a front office in turmoil like the Lakers have had you’re done to players in the league. When you’re the Lakers though you STILL get to trade for a top 5 player and get some other doofus team to help you clear cap space all to take on some marginal afterthought of a player who really isn’t gonna be **** in the grand scheme of things in this league.

If you’re these other teams and you spend half the season ****ting on all your young players and making the whole roster available for trades throughout the year. Nobody wants to play for your franchise and you have to fight loyalty concerns for 30 years after the fact. Not when you’re the Lakers and still get a top 5 player wanting to meet with you and potentially sign. It’s extremely frustrating to watch the Lakers do nothing right for the last 10 years almost and turn it all around in the span of about three weeks. Especially being gifted back to back top 5 draft picks to make things work.

I get what you're saying, but they spent decades to earn "being the Lakers". The Clippers are in the same town, same climate, same arena, and no one gives a **** about them cause they've never done anything other than Lob City and have no long-term success. The Lakers have history, nostalgia, 16 championships, countless HOFers, and many other things that make them appealing.

And Magic/Pelinka should get credit for how they've turned around the Mozgov/Deng mess. They landed LeBron. You can say LeBron was gonna go there anyway, but why did he join the Lakers instead of the Clippers? Cause guys would rather be a Laker than a Clipper.

NBA free agent Nikola Mirotic has decided to sign with Euroleague club Barcelona, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Mirotic was in the market for $45-50M total in contract in the NBA.

Thought it was a joke when I first heard it. I guess he's getting his Rudy Fernandez on.

Another quality big on the market: Houston center Nene is declining his $3.8M option and will become a free agent, league sources tell ESPN.

This dude NeNe lasted longer than Melo.

                              This is utter nonsense man.

Probably the last time I'll respond to you/this.

The Lakers organization is a circus. Same as the Knicks. Players aren't stupid. They're all gonna get max offers so it's not like one team can outbid the other.

The Nets and Clippers are in the same boat. They are the B-side in the same market but with less hassle and good coaching. Players are considering them for a legit reason in addition to the fact that they have cap room.

Cut the nonsense already. You have no reason to be talking about Laker tradition when you're simply following one single player wherever the hell he goes.

I'd be kind of shocked if Kawhi signed with the Lakers to play with LBJ and AD. Just doesn't seem like that's something he would do.
