I was not expecting Clippers after their second max slot. But it makes sense that it took that long since he gave them time to get a second star. I find it funny that Kawhi talked PG into requesting a trade. This gives the NBA the parity we all want. 4 unprotected firsts isn't something to snuff at. Wouldn't be surprised if OKC doesn't consider trading Westbrook to get more assets.

Assuming Kawhi and PG stays healthy, that is a dangerous squad. You have those guys plus Bev for the next 3 year's, plus Shamet, Lou, Tres. Can be a elite perimeter defensive starting lineup. Definite title contender

I love how everything is set for Kawhi to go for the "1st player to win 3 MVP Finals with 3 different teams" just like...LeBron.

Kawhi is blazing his trail, and I will come out and say it, Kawhi (possibly) building the Clippers into a contender, creating something, that's a real legacy. The Lakers didn't need LeBron, they are a storied franchise already, hindsight is everything but this move makes LeBron look small by comparison.

So how do you judge Westbrook’s trade value?

It's tough. Westbrook seems like the ride or die type so I could see him doubling down on OKC. He may never win anything but he'll put up numbers and keep them afloat. Go down as an OKC legend.

No. Because then we could had got a-lot better free agents.Kawhi made us wait purposely... thus making us weaker. While the Clippers made moves the whole time. While him and P.G planned this.
