2019 Offseason Thread
Making all these moves but still don’t have a GM.
And don’t feed me no Tommy Shepherd mess because he’s Ernie-lite and hasn’t even been given the job, which has been open since April.
This is a classic *makes fart noise* move. But seeing as how they really don’t have much to maneuver around with, this is the type of move they can really only make.
And aholbert ain’t slick...soon as they start struggling, my guy gonna disappear. I still remember you talking big **** after they got Dwight and then disappearing lmao#RespectTheCultureComment

New York landed the big fish for the Garden after all. The biggest move of the offseason. A plethora of moves coming the Knicks.

Pat Bev on why he turned down more money to stay with the Los Angeles Stepchildren:
Beverley said he turned down more money elsewhere to stay with the team that offered him the most comfort. Owner Steve Ballmer, coach Doc Rivers, president Lawrence Frank and his assistant coaches and teammates “allow me to be Pat,” Beverley said. “That’s really important for me.”
“My teammates brought me back of course, but it's all the team,” he said. “I got a bigger offer from Sacramento and I took $9 [million], $10 million less to come here. ...
“It was the right decision. Of course, the human part of you wants to take as much money as you see, but all money isn't good money. I did what was best for me and my family and I did what was best to stay on a winning team, and I feel like I made the right decision.”

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
I seen the speculation about Beal and Miami. But what does Miami have to offer. Past year or 2, they have been trading off 1st round picks. I'm not sure what year in the next 4 years they have their 1st round pick. They don't really have young assets to build around either.Comment
