It’s kind of obvious they won’t have the depth other teams do, but it’s also not needed. In the playoffs rotations are shortened anyway and in the regular season I’m sure Vogel will give them the rest they need.

Other than the wording of “backfire” and the “40 minutes” thing from that one singular post, none of the other lack of depth talk over the past month or so has even been remotely close to insinuating that they can’t compete for a ring or will be struggling to make the playoffs as an 8th seed though. Which is what you made it sound like everybody has been saying King.. a lack of depth has been mentioned numerous times, but nobody has went as far to act like having 3 super stars will have them struggling to make the playoffs because their 6th man sucks.

My sources say that Kawhi is leaning towards one side, but he could still change his mind. The pitches had lots of back and forth info shared, there was lots of talk within the Kawhi camp about what the best decision would be, and a decision is definitely happening sooner rather than later.

Lol, but that's really been the talk around here. They'll mention the ESPN and other reports just to create buzz, but for most part they know these reports are stupid and nobody knows for sure. One show here even showed just how little some reporters know and how they flip flop on reports so often. Even the Stein report from earlier, he mentioned Magic and Lebron in the meetings, but literally the very next tweet talks about how the Lakers are trying to keep leaks to a minimum....How is that not contradicting?

I had Fox Sports on all day and Cowherd made a good point: Magic is the one leaking the info, not the Lakers, because he is trying to repair his image/brand. He's no longer employed by the Lakers, but if it comes out that he's the one taking these calls, talking to Uncle Dennis, doing whatever Kawhi is requesting, then it makes him look good, maybe even one of the top reasons Kawhi actually comes and repairs his image, which in the mind of many right now is severely tainted with the way he quit.

Just a theory obviously, but very plausible IMO.

I trust a rando with 450 twitter followers more than Vegas odds. The latter are, much like Woj supposedly is, entirely influenced by money.

That's horrible logic; do you think people just want to throw money away? Lol.

Klay’s agent says he will be out 5-7 months, more realistically at the back-end of that time frame. So we’re essentially looking at something similar to Kyrie’s broken kneecap in the 2015 finals. Entirely different injuries as the ACL takes much more load, but Kyrie came back from that injury and reached his nirvana within 6 months.

5-7 months for an ACL, that seems crazy when I think back in the to the days of Bernard King.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Seems a little low AP in nfl came back in like 7 but they say he is a physical freak. I would say more like 9 months.
