Vince Carter said he'd be open to playing his final season with Raptors.

Sounds like he's putting it on management. One of those "I wouldn't mind playing there...if they want me.".

If he actually wants to be that vet on the bench helping out the guys like Powell,OG,RHJ then by all means come. If he wants to come here, get paid like a good bench guy and play big bench minutes, then no way that needs to happen.

Even if he takes a smaller offer for Raptors, I'm sure even he knows the merch and endorsement deals will be huge for him. A farewell season in Toronto, fans would eat it up so much.

Either way next season should be fun. The beginning of a new era with coaches flags, the Zion hype and everything.

We do need a break from the season though. Makes you appreciate it not when it comes back.

We just finished summer league.


I just don't see why people keep giving attention to these reporters stirring up controversy knowing good and well they just proved they have no inside information

Leave it to OS to turn a post from a"fake Lakers fan" into yet another keep that energy nonsense some of y'all like to spout.

It's a slow offseason right now, the situation was funny. Why do so many of you always have to turn it into something else? He got caught pandering again. That's all it was. Some of you read into things too much and/or are way too concerned with finding an agenda from the poster. Some of you just need to keep scrolling. Good grief

Not only are they not dead, I would say they are being massively slept on by pretty much everyone right now.

All this talk about teams only having 2 stars, and more parity, while GS still has their original big 3 All-Star guys (when Klay gets back) and on top of that they added another fringe All-Star guy in DLo. They also signed WCS somehow for about 2 mil while guys like Capela get closer to 20.. Before they stopped playing him 30+ minutes a night this dude was 17 and 9 last year and they are slotting him next to 4 All-Stars...

I mean I thought KD was about 50/50 on staying or leaving, and knew that Iggy and Livingston had a shot at being out with retirement or because of money.. But who would have guessed they could replace that with guys like DLo and WCS..

They may lose some games trying to figure themselves out next year, but if Klay gets back, and he is right, why couldn't they beat anybody in the West? I mean we literally just watched a playoffs/finals where Curry was probably the best player on the floor, Klay before injury was the most potent scorer and arguably best two-way guy on the floor (yes even more so than Kawhi), and Dray might have had the best post season of his career..

Admittedly having to defend Kawhi and PG would be tough for them, but they just did a great job of that with Kawhi+Siakam, and there is always a chance PG goes "Playoff P" (in a bad way I mean).. LeBron and AD neither one are good match-ups for them either.. But if they drop to 5-7 seed and get Utah, Portland, Denver, idk why people would assume they can't/won't beat those teams.
