Its been kind of hard to judge (atleast for me) when theres so little suns games on TV, I havent even seen them play once..

A matchup between the Spurs/Suns in the playoffs will come down to who has homecourt advantage. It'll be a tough series. I think the Suns could pull it off though. Whoever posted above me, I agree. The Suns are never on national TV. It doesn't affect me though since we have every Suns game on local TV.

yeah the suns are great, luckily i can see every game. usually there close with the team in the first half but then the other teams during the 2nd half start getting tired and thats when they take them out. There a well conditioned team and they have a ton of weapons and its easier when everyone can shoot on the team. If marion is cold, nash or richardson gets hot, vice versa and they also have joe johnson and of course amara is always steppin up. Its tough to have the whole team cold. Plus bench players like barbosa, jacobson and especially Hunter have been doing great.

One thing thats different from this team and teams like the Dallas team a few years back is that this team can play pretty good defense for playing small, run and gun ball.

Now i'm not saying we are one of the best defensive teams in the leauge, but other teams like the pistons and spurs grind it out, while we run lots of fastbreaks which equals more points in less minutes, so our opponents also get more opportunities as well. It is pretty much impossible to score a lot and play good defense. You have to either pick one or the other or be slightly good at both.

Spurs eat Suns for lunch!

The only thing keeping us from the title is our pathetic FT shooting & Rasho inconsistency @ the Center position, along with stupid TO's late in games.
Aside from that we should be in good psoition to contend for this yr's title.

To me, this Suns team can be very dangerous in the playoffs. If they can pull out some big upsets then we could be seeing a NBA Finals preview tonight between the Heat & Suns.

I'm with you on that. Suns opponents average more points because they get more touches. They're point differential +11.4 is equivalent to that of the Spurs. I'm not saying they have a defense equal to that of the Spurs, who most likely have the best in the league, but they have proven they can stop teams which is evident by their trademark 12 to 20-0 runs. They can put up 20 points in less than 5 minutes while blanking the other team.

Inconsistency on D is what i'm worried about, not their actual level of defense.

Well, the Suns pretty much worked the Heat tonight. I have to admit, I'm a little surprised. I thought it'd be a little closer than that. I wouldve loved to see this game but I couldnt.

I dont want to talk about 72-10 or even championship yet. Those are WAY too far off to even say anything and I dont want to jinx it. I just wanna take it one game at a time.
