I didn't catch the game tonight but it seems they put on a clinic against the Pacers.

The Suns are a great team, and good running teams RARELY run out of gas...hello, no team since the showtime teams of the 80's has run as much as the Nets have, and they went to the finals. Twice. D'Antoni does need to cut down their minutes, but they'll be fine in the post season.

They can't match up with the Spurs, though. Amare will be in constant foul trouble against Duncan, and Nash can in no way, shape or form guard Tony Parker. They are going to p&R the Suns into oblivion. The Spurs have perhaps the best transition defense in the league, so unlike most teams, they have both the D, and the post presence to control the tempo...its gonna' be tough for the Suns if they have to face Timayyyy.

I think he plays them hard cuase they dont practice like other teams. I am not sure if any one else has said this but D'Antoni doesnt run a full practice on off days, so that they will be rested for the games and based on their style of play I think it may work for them

I was watching the Suns play the other night and they were talking about how they dont practice like other teams they do light scrimmages and one full practice on gameday or something like that. Basically the practice light but play full speed all game.

Here's an interesting bit of information that I picked up at lakersground.net:

$1,000,000 question: How many of these teams had 70 wins by the end of the regular season?
                      Answer: 1

$2,000,000 question: How many of these teams won NBA championship at the end of the year?
                      Answer: All
Now my question is, do you think that the Suns are on the level of THOSE teams?
