      Re: NBA Draft 2020

Boring draft was pretty uninterested in it. Glad to see a few Kentucky players land where they did.

Really think the Knicks fans will like Quickley in time. He's a good shooter and he rapidly improved in his few years at Kentucky. He could be instant offense and he can play some D. Really became a consistent threat.

I think Maxey really has to improve his shooting dramatically to live up to the hype. If he can he's gonna be a good combo guard. Nice finisher, quick. All comes down to his shooting.

And lastly Richard's I absolutely love going from the Pels to Charlotte. Gets to play with former teammate P.J Washington. He's gotta high motor and improved dramatically at UK. Used to have no range. Has a nice middy now, good shot blocker, and rebounder. He's gonna give you everything he's got. Love it for Charlotte. Underrated pick. He's slept on.

I think Charlotte had a really nice draft.

        A couple other notes.

Best pick. Either Precious going to the Heat or Bey going to Detroit . Really good players that I think will thrive.

Obviously you could go the easy route with Edwards or Wiseman. Thats too obvious though.

Worst pick. Patrick Williams to Chicago. I don't get it. They are really rolling the dice. I'd have gone Okoro or Vassell or Avdija over him.

Most underrated pick. Nesmith to Boston or Richard's to Charlotte.

Rockets picked up Mason Jones.. He could have been the most underrated guy in the draft.

Atlanta signed C Nathon Knight to a 2 way deal who I hadn't heard of apparently was a 20/10 game for his career. It makes sense to stash away another big as you've got that position filled on the regular roster.

I'm on the fence about Edwards. What about y'all he was explosive in college but not necessarily efficient. Minnesota may have gotten another Wiggins tbh. Brimming with potential. But we could say that about anyone. I don't feel like he's a no 1 pick on a good year.

I think he got great potential to be a superstar. College is the worst for a player like him. He's a James Harden level type of player.

I'm on the fence as well.. He reminds me some of a slightly more explosive Waiters, TyReke without the handle, Harden but not even close to being as skilled/refined.. So I'm just not sure. He definitely has the ability and talent to be a great player, but if all this stuff about his mindset is true you have to wonder how dedicated he'll be. Especially once he has money. Personally I would be worried I was drafting Ben McLemore or Victor Oladipo. He's a little bigger, but I'm a bit weary of his intangibles, IQ, desire to be great, etc.

I don't see Harden level with him at all. He's a streaky player and he settles too much. His drive game was weak in college. Too many times he would pull a contested 30 footer then take a guy off the dribble to the cup. And he absolutely has that ability to do that but you didn't see it.

Honestly he reminded me alot of Malik Monk. They both pulled out shots that weren't necessary. Monk didn't drive enough either. Which was ridiculous because of his athleticism. Monk was a better shooter too tbh.

I've heard Durant comparisons and thats just nonsense. Durant was never streaky. He was always smooth af. And was damn near impossible to stop in his one year at Texas.

The Wiggins vibe is too real with him for me.

I get this vibe too. Now he could really improve his shot decisions and his drive game and be a superstar. But he's a little more raw then I like for a No 1 pick.
