I've been more interested in the NBA this year than ever. Ever since the Lakers dynasty has been broken up and a few major players have switched unis, the game has become more interesing. I dont really think the point totals are the reasons. But moreso the fact that new teams are emerging into championship contenders. The Sonic, Heat, Wiz and Suns.....4 teams who has alot of potential at becoming the new dynasties of the NBA. Everything is so unpredictable right now in the L. nobody can say for sure who will play in this years finals. It reminds me alot of Football.

Even the Nuggets and Warriors are putting up a great game tonight.

Plus, a lot of young stars are coming out. I can already see Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich being a better version of Mobley and Francis in the near future.

I think everyone got sick of the same thing. Everyone running nothing but Iso plays where the ballhandler attempts to breakdown his defender, and either forces up a heavily contested jumpshot, or drives and begs for a foul. Or they run the same 2 man game, where once the entry pass goes to the post, the post man kicks it out, and the entry passer lobs up another 3 ball.

NBA got so stale for a while, hopefully we will see some actual smart basketball being played, instead of nothing but one on one ball, or 2 man games.

I decided to finally break down and buy tickets to a game. I'm going to the Bobcats game against Chicago on February 26th. I'm excited and I'll be attending my first of many NBA games.
