Damn, to think we were 0.5 from both tops seeds in the east being down 0-3
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
    Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
    Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

    Captain Tenneal: Get it on!

Miami deserve to be where they’re at in this series.

Hey, it is what it is.

I still think it was a bull**** call.

All good. I just want to see the young man take the crown, but now he'll get **** on worse than ever.

I dont ****ing care anymore. That Toronto series (and, even though its a different sport, the double doink) completely broke me. Its to the point where every time my team is good im expecting disappointment, and every good player on my team I expect to inevitably leave.

Do I gotta wait until the end of the series to say Giannis still ain't the best player in the world yet?

Gotta dump Bledsoe with the quickness & remove Matthews from the starting lineup.

Like a earlier poster said, losing Brogdon and extending Bledsoe were critical mistakes by the front - office.

Gotta do whatever it takes to bring in another star and/or volume 3 - point shooter.

And I feel for you. I went through similar heartache when David Robinson & the Spurs were getting mopped on the floor by Utah, Phoenix & Golden State on annual basis.

Hopefully, y'all can make needed changes and bounce back next season.*

            (Unless they do the impossible.)

              He is......

Was Jordan not the best when getting losing to Detroit and/or Boston, LeBron when losing to Orlando and/or Boston, Duncan when he got embarrassed two years in a row against the Lakers?

Catching a bad matchup or a bad break is the difference between a championship and an embarrassing, early exit.

Bled is playing through injury as well.

I mean, to be fair, Last year we heard ad nauseum about how much Giannis doesn't care about anything else but basketball, his will to win and how intense he is..lol

Man, that sucks for him but coach Bud should sit his *** down then. He has been terrible these last two games and was **** in the ECF last year.

They need a massive upgrade at PG cause Bledsoe ain't getting it done.

Well, I stay away from the narrative driven nonsense. I guess Jimmy's "will to win" is greater except when he's on the Bulls, 76ers or Timberwolves.

I wouldn't consider him the best when he still has a glaring weakness in his game, especially when that weakness is arguably the most important skill in the modern game

Budenholzer says playing Giannis 35 or 36 minutes is "pushing the ceiling."

                        GET HIM OUT ASAP.

Seriously, it's not difficult. Giannis plays minutes 1-5 each quarter, sits minutes 6-7, comes back in for 8-12. 2 minute breather at the halfway point of each quarter, extra breather after quarters 1 and 3, 15 minute break at halftime. There's your 40 minutes a game for him. Schedule the other starters around that so that you always have at least 1-2 starters on the court at all times.

But no, Bud insists regular season rotations work in the playoffs and wants to roll with damn near all bench lineups too. Dude is a playoff basketball AIRHEAD.

I don't want to make this argument for the 1,000 time.

People keep judging him like he's still a small forward. He isn't. He is like Adebayo, even better actually, a PF that can handle the ball, play make & has perimeter skills.

Difference is Miami has done an excellent job of surrounding Adebayo & Bulter with a ton of shooters. Instead of having a clear liability like Bledsoe, who's outside shot no one respects or fears.

Yes, it would make him unstoppable if he can get his perimeter shot at a respectable rate and his free - throw percentage back at or above 70%.

Still he literally does everything else at a high level like defend, rebound, play make & score (even without a consistent perimeter shot).

He needs more shooters around him - which should mean bye bye to Bledsoe - with possibly also third star alongside him & Middleton.

Also, these type of series and losses hurt like hell & fans/the media over state their significance, but all the greats go through this.

The coach needs to do a better job, Giannis needs to stop settling for outside jumpers (it could've been the ankle bothering him) & his teammates need to step up. If not then changes need to happen before they lose a generational talent.

Does his *** not remember what got the Spurs their first 2 or 3 championships? It was Duncan playing 38 - 40 minutes a night and entire 4th quarters of critical games.

Pop preached all that rest stuff, but when push came to shove he'd "max out" his most important players & bench them when ineffective.
