Love what I saw from my Spurs tonight, fellas.

Not sure its sustainable but damn I love the kids on the squad. Gotta hope they can continue to grow, develop and mature together over the course of this season.

Plus, those two dunks by Lonnie Walker IV were ****ing filthy......

Spurs young guys looked good, but that dude Ja Morant looked like a star.

Nice touch paying tribute to Tommy Heinsohn (RIP) by lowering all the banners he was apart of. Made for a sweet photo backdrop.

What role did Heinsohn directly play in the '86 & '08 championship seasons?

Great look and tribute to a Celtics legend, though. He always had nice things to say about the Tim Duncan - era Spurs, so (even with all his homer calls) he was good in my book.

Meh, you can't take everything away and one guy alone rarely beats you, IMO.

They aren’t just one guy, that’s not a fair statement at all..... Brooks played just as well as any young Spur also, and they will look substantially better when Jackson and Winslow get back. There is a reason they were the 8 seed before the bubble last year.

Or are you saying the Spurs were playing the 1 guy beat you game? Regardless Ja did a damn good job of coming close lol. Thought they did an ok job for being short handed. Murray looked really good for San Antonio, more like the guy we saw a couple years ago. I still think San Antonio needs to move on from Mills and just give the young guys all the minutes.

For the Grizz I’m fine with the young talent they currently have. Morant, Brooks, Jackson, Clarke, Melton, etc.. Time to swing some picks with that Kyle Anderson contract to upgrade that spot. I like him but he’s not the right fit and they need a more athletic defender, better shooter, or both. They’ve improved their guard play enough that his benefit of playmaking has almost no impact for them at this point.

I like that Sixers can win after an ugly second and third quarter. Our bench kept us in the game. This was a type of game we would get blown out last year. Tobias, Seth, and Green went a combined 1-13 from 3pt and we still won. Our depth is better. Shake definitely has the confidence and looks like he could be 6MOY guy and held his own on defense. Dwight had 10 boards off the bench. Maxey looked good in 1st half.

Halfcourt definitely looks like it could be an issue at times. If Tobias can't knock down threes consistently spacing will be an issue. We're not going to see many poor shooting nights from Danny and Seth. But we need Tobias to be a near 20ppg scorer. Bench in the 3 games we played looked more cohesive than our starting lineup. Key thing for us is Tobias being consistent.

This was the one, crazy bounce.

He was my sleeper for ROTY when he was drafted. He was a bit slow developing and didn’t get much opportunity, hopefully this is his year.

I missed watching Bojan shoot threes effortlessly

Also missed Favors in a Jazz uniform

I absolutely had that James Harden **** Luka has continued to develop. That shouldn’t even be a defensive foul, and even after it was it shouldn’t be a shooting foul.

Hopefully the well doesn't run dry in the 2nd half, shooters have been on point

Clarkson, Favors and Ingles is going to make for a nasty second unit. I don't think I can overstate the improvement of Favors over Tony Bradley and Ed Davis. To not even have a shake in our confidence in our rim protection once Gobert sits, it's amazing

That is indeed a tremendous luxury. We all know what Gobert can do, but yeah, maintaining while he's out is a huge asset.

I can't believe Dame has put up a bagel in the first half. I mean, sure, he could easily catch fire, and go off for 30+, so I'll see how the 2nd half goes. I just wasn't impressed with giving up so many open 3's :-l
