Spurs and Grizzlies both have 40 games over 68 days yikes

Yeah, we're ****ed with being shorthanded currently and if injuries strike it could get worse. They have an okay "cushion" now but that second half schedule is going to be a grind. They could be clinging to that 8th, 9th or 10th spot by season's end.

I do hope the playoffs are made, but I’m not going to get excited when maybe we make the playoffs and win 1 game against your nets. The rebuild process was rushed and that has clearly backfired and its hurt the team long term.

Apparently Deandre Hunter was the glue to the team only won 2 games out of like 11 without him.

DeAndre was considered a "glue guy" coming out of Virginia, so not surprising that is his role on your team. How long is he expect to be out for?

I didn't completely understand the signing of Rondo or Gallo and that they might blow up in y'all's faces. Sucks, but trying to make the playoffs and "keeping Trae happy" seemed to be the biggest priorities and not further internal improvement (+ seeing how a healthy Capela meshes with everyone).

He is going to be out for a while longer April is the expected range for when he comes back.

While I was against signing Gallo I can see the logic behind it as 3 point shooting last year was a major problem. With the 3rd year non guaranteed it became a better contract once that came out. He gives you a offense option and it was known from the start he was coming off the bench. I think your right this was definitely a signing to keep Trae happy. He is just so dang slow and out of shape.

I can’t come up with a single reason why anyone would think signing rondo was a good ideal. I mean he didn’t even try in the regular season in LA so what did you expect would happen when he came to a fringe playoff team. Let’s just pretend you get playoff rondo every game which we know it’s happening. He can’t play with Trae because of his defense and neither one of them can play off the ball. So your paying him 2 years at real $ to play like 12 minutes a game.

Rondo and Gallo make a combined 28 million this year and any player in the G would be better then either of them.

Clint has played well so no complaints with him he misses to many easy shots still he has played at a all star type level.

I would have gave the rebuild process another year. Im not saying I would be tanking this year I just would have keep cap Flexibility for the upcoming offseason. If you win then Great if not then it’s not the end of the world bc none of the young guys have been paid yet.

Ironically the 46 million you spent this offseason you have got literally nothing from. It’s basically been last years team plus a healthy Capella.

For example sign bogdan and Dunn and with the other 20 million remaining I would have signed 1 year deals or took on short term bad contracts for draft picks. You saw the Cavs get a 2nd for taking on McGee those types of deals. McGee would have helped this team and been a upgrade over the backup C spot.

I'm not sure if I'm more surprised that Luka Samanic is starting or that Aldridge is coming off the bench.

DeJounte with two early fouls, so that isn't good especially when he's the only one scoring (chucking a little bit, too).

Right on cue Trae was fantastic in the 1st quarter and Gallo was good as well lol

Boston is going to have to stop auto switching the bigs on him and have Teague and Carson Edwards guard him while brown guards Tony Snell

this is also really the 1st year of the Stevens era they haven't handled the injuries well at all. this is rock bottom. I dunno if they need to fire someone I'm not on that bandwagon like others are but they are down bad right now.

I may have to start bashing him more if he is going to play like this. Trae and Gallo had 49 at half on prob 80% shooting.


This Boston team does look rough losing al and Hayward for nothing is starting to show. They can still make a move and fix things with the 17 million trade exception.

record wise they are still fine because the east is garbage and they will eventually get Smart back. Ainge needs to make a move badly and Stevens has real flaws but are you really going to find someone better mid-season tough to tell. Ainge severely screwed up the offseason and it was much bigger than the stuff people were arguing about like the draft picks or selecting TT over Turner that stuff wouldn't of changed this. before this season if you told me i got the Jaylen leap I would've expected them for sure contenders so it's really weird. It's also a very weird season because of the short turnaround.

Ugly, sloppy first half but the Spurs are up 5. I'm hoping they plan on using the free roster spot on a 10 - day controller cause we need a swingman or SG bad.
