The league needs to reduce the numbers of games being played. Each teams play twice against each others and that's it. Too many meaningless games, too much load management or players coasting or have no desire to play hard. The calendar is just too much on the players.

2. Even if both sides wanted to, removing games still wouldn’t remove the issues you mentioned.#RespectTheCultureComment

Exactly, a player may now play 72 games out of 82. If you make the season 72 games teams/players will find a way so now players play 62 out of 72 and so on and so forth.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

I mean, I guess if you make the season 20 games maybe players would play all of themOSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

As long as people believe that fewer games equal fewer injuries guys will be put in bubble wrap. I tend to go with the "an object in motion tends to stay in motion" idea.Comment

Ain't that 28 games less if you only play teams in your conference twice? (compared to a normal season)
That's a meaningful change. Less games mean each game is more meaningful and players are fresher and as the audience we get better games to watch. I only see benefits to it besides less revenue and that's probably the reason it's not being done.Last edited by Vni; 04-04-2021, 02:03 PM.Comment

One thing the NBA needs to get rid of after COVID is these back-to-back against the same team. I feel they have been awful, even if they help with less air miles traveled.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

If you’re goal is to try and make every game matter(in which case this might end coasting/load management)like it is in the NFL, short of them just playing every team only 1 time, that will never happen and you’d only be setting yourself up for disappointment as a fan.#RespectTheCultureComment

It’s a weird “feel” to it as well. It felt like Memphis played Utah 7 games in a row last week [emoji23].

He was mehhh to start the season but once they started having a few injuries and he was throw into the starting lineup he has been making a huge difference IMO. Really been a big plus for them. I’ve been impressed with Claxton and TLC too, although TLC has slowed down a bit compared to the first half of the season. Tyler Johnson has been coming around too. The Nets depth is what everybody told us the Clippers depth was last year lol. Will be scary if Dinwiddie makes it back by the playoffs.
