Atlanta deserves its props. They didn't back down. Very poor 2nd half from Embiid. Simmons seemed non-existent in the 2nd half. They should have ran the offense through Harris more especially with Embiid struggling

Still think Sixers win the series. But Atlanta did give them chances to win this game and couldn't take advantage. You can't give a young team like this hope.

I can’t respect Ben if he has to sit at the end of close games because he can’t hit a 3 and is suspect at the line.

I agree. Its one thing if Hawks had a good shooting game and shot lights out. Joel going 0-12 definitely doesn't help. But, turnovers, empty possessions, nobody stepping up. Shake kept them in it at the fourth. The one flaw with Embiid is when he gets gassed, he does get reckless. Embiid does take a lot of low percentage shots. This year most of them went in. But when he gets gassed, they don't go in. He is also a foul hunter. Yes they missed some fouls tonight, but too many wasted possessions trying draw fouls

He said he should've been more aggressive in the second half. At this point, he shouldn't have to be told that every game. With how roster is constructed, there are games he just needs to be the facilitator. But other when he needs to be aggressive. Yes the lack of a jumpshot beyond 5 feet hurts, but not knowing when to flip the switch automatically is what is holding back the offense.

Games like this is when I would be okay with them trading Ben. He definitely is a good player, but he doesn't have that switch and is too passive at times. I would definitely want a Lillard for Dame trade if that ever becomes available

I was waiting for the Doc hot takes.

Bizarre game. Bizarre series. It could easily be over already in a Philly sweep. If Embiid is ailing to that extent for the rest of the series this one is a toss-up. Simmons remains such a frustrating player. So many tools and gifts but he's another guy with so much to prove in the playoffs.

IMO if he tries to go tonight it will be a AD situation where he won't last 10 minutes.

He and Conley have the exact same injury and have injured it before, which caused them to miss weeks.
