Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
I was at the game near the basket where Kyrie went down. I didn't see it happen, but I never like to see injuries to anyone. It was painful trying to watch him just to get up.
I told my friend the MVP's for the Bucks were Connaughton and PJ. KD went 3 for 12 vs PJ and Connaughton's hands were all over the place.
Connaughton was fouled by Harris going for a rebound and nothing was called. Connaughton's eye was all bloody and needed to be stitched up.
Typical physical playoff game.
I do hope Harden and or Kyrie make it back before the series is over. I heard on the Bucks radio(don't know how true it is) that Harden may not come back for the entire playoffs.
We walked out of the Fiserv with no problem and we heard on the way home the fire that sounds like it was contained.
Just read there was no fire at the forum, a mechanical issue with a fire alarm.
Another edit- Connaughton talked the training staff into glue vs stitches, but stiches may still come.
Edit #2- Harden and KD were in the refs ear constantly during timeouts, one of the refs told Harden to go sit back down.Last edited by roadman; 06-13-2021, 06:39 PM.Comment

Injuries suck but it's a part of the game. This is why I love sports though. I want to see KD rise to the occasion and have to go through some adversity. I think it'll really validate the chip for the Nets if they're able to ultimately win it all as most of us expect. Milwaukee has a lot of pressure on them for game 5.

Not putting weight on it means easily missing this series. So unless Nash can coach Mike James into James Harden production. KD is going to see some hard doubles and helps. And he's struggled the last 2 games. Bucks just got to pull this off 2 more times with no Kyrie in the picture.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
It is crazy how it went from automatic presumed favorites to know hoping Harden comes back. That injury changes the whole playoff landscape. If Bucks win the series, it makes everything open.
I do think Philly can close out the series. But Atlanta is due for a hot shooting night. I'm just hoping that they can close it out because I fear an Embiid injury if it goes to 6-7. I would start Furkan tomorrow. I like Matisse's energy off the bench. While Furkan is streaky, he would benefit from the open looks being inserted into starting lineup. Plus he'd make Young work more than Geen would on defense.Comment

Close it out is what the Bucks need to do, no chance for miracle Kyrie coming back or Harden for that matter. Bucks need to kill the Nets as soon as possible.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Well he's supposedly been coaching circles around Budenholzer, so I don't see why he couldn't do it.Comment

Easier said than done. If they don’t win this next game, they’ll lose this series I’m predicting. This is where you have to be a shark. You have all the momentum and the Kyrie injury is that shell shocked deflating moment that gives you the chance to go in for the kill. It’ll be too big a gut punch for the Bucks to overcome if they miss this opening.

Anyone think Giannis purposely put his foot out to hurt Kyrie?
