The Bucks were ahead at the right moment of the game.

Agree, refs all over the place on both ends.

And boo on people giving that spectacular block by #34 a foul. Ball before body. lol

    Great game to watch.

They also missed a few calls on Giannis throughout the game. It's preposterous how the dude can foul people like a bull in a China shop and still have only 2 fouls until late in the 4th.

Sure, I am sure they missed a few on Booker/CP3 with some make up calls and every player last night and made questionable calls all game long.

It’s also preposterous how Booker can intentionally give a foul and they don’t call it because it would’ve been his sixth lol.

That CP3 turnover with around 30 seconds to go was rough, it feels like that exact thing is always happening to him when he gets close.

Not too shabby for a streaky shooter:

Khris Middleton has made 15 game-tying or go-ahead shots in the 4th-quarter/OT this postseason.

That's tied with LeBron James (2007) for the most in a single playoffs in the last 25 seasons.

You almost feel safer with it in Bookers hands at times in end game situations.

Like I said last night, when he's on his game he closes out games as good as anybody.

The Booker no call was so bad, but that’s the dangers of crappy officiating and make up calls.

All the talk at work today are people raging about that play. The talk there and other spots online I saw about the league not wanting Milwaukee to win is absurd considering they want Giannis to be the face of the league. The officiating was horrible and did both teams a disservice last night but you can’t go that road and act like Milwaukee got screwed and harp about Booker while ignoring the fact that Booker picking up his 5th foul with about 10 minutes left in the 4th and having to sit until damn near 4 minutes left when he was cooking the Bucks from a possession the Bucks wouldn’t have had if they call the ball clearly kicked out by Tucker correctly.

Last night was an example of atrocious officiating that ****ed over everybody

                            Right, officiating was horrible overall..

But you can't expect those two situations to get similar reactions out of people. The kicked ball was a missed call, that happens. The Booker play was not a missed call, nobody missed that, it was just openly and blatantly not called.. Most likely because one of the stars would have fouled out. That's a horrible look for the NBA just in general.

There was even another one after that they didn't call, I think a poster here even mentioned it was Book's "7th foul" after that one, and even the Tucker play they didn't call an offensive foul on Book either and they could have. In general he gets away with a lot, but he's a star in the playoffs and he's a smaller guy, that's pretty standard.

I don't think the refs were 1 sided at all, just not good overall, but the Booker stuff seemed a little eyeroll-ish as they let them man rack up 10 fouls and stay in the game while he's the dude dropping 40.. And don't expect anybody to question that at least a little? **** I'm not saying they were against the Bucks, might have been the same for Giannis or Middleton the other way seeing how those refs were all night, it just so happened to be Booker.

I also feel the need to mention the Tayshaun Prince block on Reggie Miller. I am obligated to as a Detroit native, but that Giannis muff last night was indeed incredible.

The "possession the Bucks wouldn't have had" thing is weird to me considering his 5th foul came out of a dead ball situation. It was a completely ordinary possession that didn't really have anything to do with the missed kick ball.

I think you could maybe rightfully argue that Booker was pissed about the missed call at one end and let that frustration feed into him fouling Tucker for his 5th but we'll never really know because Booker kinda always plays that way. He (and many many other players for that matter) always thinks he's being wronged by the refs no matter how the game is going.

At the end of the day, he has to be smarter with his fouls than he was last night. His 5th, 6th, and 7th fouls were all pretty stupid and he really needs to know better, especially in a game like that one where he was the only player from either team playing well for the vast majority of it.
