Albeit against the Pistons, good win for the Sixers undermanned and on a back to back not led by a good Joel game. Every one of the 8 man rotation contributed with 5 with at least 14pts, Matisse with 3 blocks, and Drummond and Reed bringing energy and rebounding off the bench. Curry continuing his hot start. Maxey with 20 on 8-12 FG. Maxey has played well last few games after a shakey start. I know the original intention was to have Shake start with Maxey as the 6th man. I was on board with that, but he has to be the starter until he struggles.

They have to figure out have to beat the doubles Joel's getting on every touch. Teams are doing a much better job doubling as soon as he touches the ball and from multiple angles. Also have to cut down on the low % fades and foul hunts.

I hope they do well again this season. I’m a big Embiid fan, and just disappointed with how things ended last post season.

Speaking of that early exit, I’m watching the Hawks get demolished on their home court. Hey, at least those fans in ATL have the Braves to be happy about.

It is, but the other parts of the game were there this game. the team defense and creating for others I thought which really wasn't the last few. It'll come, he's simply too good.

Speaking of that early exit, I’m watching the Hawks get demolished on their home court. Hey, at least those fans in ATL have the Braves to be happy about.

Nobody in the state (including myself) are paying attention or watching the hawks now. Everyone is consumed by the Braves championship run and Georgia being #1.

Doc has to figure out how to get things going for Joel. They had a good start on a favorable schedule so far But, it gets considerably tougher the next couple weeks. Where, they aren't going to get these types of wins against the opponents that are upcoming

It just depends on what they get back from a Simmons trade. I see a 5% chance he plays and that's only if he can't stretch the "not mentally ready to play" as far as he can. With the way the bench has played, I would want a deal that upgrades the starting PG(slide Maxey to 6th man) and the SF spot. I'd throw in Shake a apart of a deal.

Beyond thrilled to see Ime Udoka back off the switch everything on defense philosophy. That alone has helped nudge the team defense in the right direction.

Melo was such a good signing for the Lakers
