Davis doesn’t look like he’s okay. Might just be me, but he’s off a bit.

He has been outside of just a few games.. idk if it’s mental, physical, adjusting to a new team, just a slump, lack of regular season motivation, or even bit of all the above but two years ago he was a top 5 player and he’s absolutely been nowhere near that this season.. even his defense without constant rim protection behind him has been a bit sloppy. No doubt their best defender still, but nowhere near a defensive player of the year guy either.. again outside of a few games.

So, what would the historical narrative be regarding the Celtics if they had not won that one ring in 2008? I feel like anyone born after 1990 has to wonder why people talk about the Lakers and Celtics as being in any way equals in terms of greatness and relevancy.

It's crazy to say about a 25 year old, but is Brown too old for their rebuild timeline.
