The Lakers really need a player that you can count on to just provide something every night. Doesn’t need to be a star or a stud but just a guy who isn’t going to have half his games be blistering hot and the other half shoot 2/15 or something.

They have that guy, but he’s 37 years old and has played about 5 million minutes.

Yes, 100% this, ironically I've been thinking for a few days that a guy like Tobias Harris would be great as the 3rd guy on the Lakers.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Eric Gordon came to mind but man THT, Nunn, first rounder is steep for a player at that stage of his career.

There is also a chance that Nunn could be that guy for them when he’s back.

Tobias isn't "bad", his contract is. Tobias misses Simmons. But, Tobias is good when he is in attack mode and makes quick decisions. When he has a plan and sticks to it, he's good. But, he gets in those moments where he isn't sure what to do. Or he tries too hard to take advantage of matchups by posting up smaller defenders or isolating bigger defenders instead of taking what's there.

Albeit on a easier stretch, last 5 games, he's averaging 23pts-57.9 FG%-8Rebs. Last 10 games, 19pts, 7 rebs, 52 FG%, and 43 3pt%. He is starting to come around after a poor start. But he did get hit hard with covid early, has tendinitis, and has non-covid illnesses. He is a good 3rd scoring option when he has a plan. For us(as constructed), he's at his best when we have other guys like Seth or Maxey performing well.

I fully expect Joel to rest on Saturday against the Kings since he's played 20 straight. He's wanted to play more games this year, especially since he's wanted to get MVP. Kings are a team, I'm taking the risk on sitting Joel.

I would like Gordon for the Sixers. Green, Furkan, and 2nd. I wouldn't want to give up a 1st for him, even a late first. Green's deal is not guaranteed after this year and Furkan is on a cheap deal. Only thing, is Furkan is technically our backup PG.

I'm not sure that Nunn is going to return at all this year, he's still experiencing soreness every time he tries to ramp it up.

I liked a lot of what I saw from AD, not settling for threes and going into the mid range where he’s clearly so much more comfortable. I just hope for his sake he’s still allowed to keep that mentality when LeBron and Westbrook are both playing and the spacing is shot because he’s going to be expected to stand in the corner at times.

I think Chuck made himself clear that he clearly didn’t understand. It’s a difference between being called ‘a boy’ and ‘boy’ by some grey haired white dude.

He’s from the South so I get it, because he’s gotten called a lot worse down there.

I didn’t think Melo was being soft like Shaq was saying but I understood where each of them were coming from.

I think players now are definitely quick on the trigger with fans saying things to them, regardless of what it is. They go straight to "throw them out." This feels like a nothing story being built into something a step or two above that. Chuck and Shaq have no doubt heard some dumb ****, and are in a better position to judge than me and my life experiences.

Personally if a fan wants to say some disrespectful things and cross certain lines(we both know what those are so let’s not play snarky/dumb for the sake of it)then a player should be able to respond back with similar energy without the threat of a fine, suspension or face any charges.

                              Win/win for both sides.
