None of it matters if they don't try.

2001 ASG was great b/c they actually played the game.

But the thing is, how do you even get players to try/care?

Only thing I can even think of (that still has flaws) would be drafting 4 teams of 7 players.

Q1 is team A vs B
Q2 is team C vs D
2nd half is a full half of the two winning teams squaring off

First half you'd have to try since you only have the one quarter and it could very well be the only quarter of the game you're in.

But there's still no incentive to play so not sure how beyond that you even get guys to care.

Sad thing, I saw a fully blacked out jersey image and thought "they're going with the fully blacked out jersey?" before realizing it just meant that one hasn't been leaked yet.

It's sad how even that concept isn't unimaginable given all the kinds of designs we've seen.

The Pistons originally had a sleeveless version of that jersey and I actually kinda liked it.

A lot of uninspired jerseys. They're better off seeking help from local artists that are affiliated with the team.
"Heat Culture" looks plain and boring, Chicago looks like a Rec league jersey. They're running out of ideas

It's like I'm scrolling through Wish or something. I'm sure they all have meaning behind them ... "the black represents the cement in the historic xyz district, and the font represents the flowers that grow there, and the placement of the number represents the cultural art scene that originated there 20 years ago, so therefore it's a great jersey"... but every year they look more and more generic and uninspiring.

They should just stick with a basic 2 jerseys, and come up with an alternate ever few years and mix it in once a while when there's a color clash or it's a holiday.

Seems like it's just an excuse to give teams black alternative jersey (at least this year). Probably time to call it quits on the annual trend and go with every three (or four) years instead.

As someone who grew up liking black jerseys, I grew to appreciate white or lighter color jerseys. For me, going the White jersey version who go over way better than forcing black jerseys. Like I said, I would have preferred a White Spectrum jersey over what have had past couple years.

I like the Pistons, 76ers, and Kings ones. Those are more along the lines of what City edition jerseys should be IMO. Chicago went with the right kind of idea too but it just looks both boring and bad unfortunately.

I kinda dig the Milwaukee one. Sort of reminds me of the old school Sonics jersey from the early 90’s.
