Ain’t no way in hell Silver is fine with that.
The game is boring IMO. Almost 40% of every shot taken is a 3, with minimal ball movement.

I honestly would love to see a single NBA game without a 3-pt line and how drastic gameplay would change. I think it would be vastly superior IMO if these 30% accurate 3-pt shots are now only worth 2 points versus the mid-range 45% accuracy shots.

...but hey, this is all an old man's 2 cents.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I couldn’t imagine removing the 3 point line with todays rules and how rosters are constructed where guys can switch 3-4 positions. No illegal defense so tons of players who’s only value is to hit spot up shots would just be left on an island, teams would constantly wall up on guys because now it’s legal and no open threes to punish them for doing so, and would just switch every off ball screen and it’d be so damn hard to get a clean shot.

Probably be the ugliest basketball any of us have ever witnessed by a long shot. Would be like the ugliest version of the early 2000s iso ball but with spacing from the 60s.. nasty lol

You’d almost have to take a lot of the same shots they take now but only worth 2 points because otherwise the spacing just wouldn’t be there. Too many non position rosters, no illegal defensive rules.

Just saw an update to this that it’s 9 duos.

Glen Rice and Glen Rice Jr.

I checked bball ref though and it looks like Rice Jr never left the bench in any of the LeBron games. So not sure if that technically counts or not.

I think the way the league is covered is trash and has definitely played a big part in why people have shied away.

I could go on a long rant but I’ve already beat that horse to death. I know my interest in the sport has been declining to the point where I have Soccer as my 2nd favorite sport to watch.

It’s hard for me to sit through an entire game. The only sport where I’ve felt that is baseball.

I get the popularity of the NBA because they do a great job of marketing individual players.

But the product on the floor is getting nearly unbearable for me.

I think it’s probably because the majority of the league is running that Mike D’Antoni offense. Pretty much every team runs the same thing or a variation of the same thing.

That and dudes chucking it from 30 feet out has just killed my enjoyment of the game.

Thought the same about Shaq also. D-Wade could fall either Team Red or Black.

Now if there’s a blue team, then things could get interesting.

Green too. With all the talent that Milwaukee, Boston, Seattle had you could probably make 2-3 separate teams that would compete with these. Even throw in Dallas and Utah alternate jerseys too.

                  Payton
                  Ray Allen
                  Bird
                  Giannis
                  Kareem

Pretty nasty. Purple team would get Utah, Lakers, and Vince Carter lol.

I forgot all about Shaq getting the same treatment. Also just hit me that D-Wade could be on all three too. I forgot all about the fact Wade played 46 games with the Cavs after being here before going back to Miami.

                      1st one was great.

Not sure how a new one would do in this day.

They did a "2" with Pat Bev, right? The first one can be such a positive tool to the kids as well as the parents.

                          We need a colour tournament.

Blue vs Green vs Red vs Yellow vs Purple vs Orange vs Black

But in order to qualify, you must be most known for a specific colour, and those colours being one you primarily wore.

So Shaq would be purple/yellow even though he had red/black for the Heat, because he's more known for the Lakers.

LeBron would be red/black (though I'd lean more to just red since he had that for Cavs and Heat, while black for Heat was an alternate jersey)

Similarly with Jordan, I'd just go red for him since that was the primary colour for the Bulls and he wore that way more than black.

Bron is wearing a yellow Cavs jersey in the graphic. He could literally be any of those colors, plus blue, just from his Cavs years alone.

Which is why I said the focus should be the primary colour of the team most known for.

Cavs did have yellow and blue jerseys, but red is the dominant/primary colour.

When you think of LeBron, it's more likely to be a look such as this

Sheeeeeeiiittt I’m throwing Vince on Blue since the majority of the teams he played on(Nets, Magic, Mavs)used that as one of their primary colors. [emoji18]
