I love when they trade the same pick twice based on where it lands. Like, the Lakers could trade the rights for the pick they sent to Utah granted it falls between 1-4 :P

A sign of the Raptors plans, the draft pick they gave up next year is only top 6 protected.

So being where they are right now could cost them a first. Play in game won't be worth it if they lose next year either.

So doesn't sound like a tank is coming, but I wonder what else happens

I know Russ is now being rumored to go to Chicago, and even more likely, LAC, but...

I would love to see Westbrook end up in Washington again. I think that team has the best shot to resurrect Russ considering his ball-dominant play style. Surrounded by shooters, especially now with KP, is something I would love to see happen.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Nets make three or four more moves today. They've got so many win-now players and could accumulate a lot of CAP-flex and future picks. In the meantime though, I'm excited to see the Dinwiddie-Cam Thomas backcourt!

I love how Grimes has played the last month and a half. Oh well.... Josh Hart is great! I can't repeat that anymore. Surprised Portland gave up on him. Be ready for his patented rebound and coast to coast and1 take. He's an amazing rebounder from the front court.

Hart comes off the bench and likely finishes games ahead of Grimes/RJ.

I need Derrick Rose to get sent to the Bulls or a contender before this deadline is over. He’s rotting away on the bench and deserves better.

Knicks have 2 roster spots open and a ton of picks to trade away. They need to deal. Even if it means facilitating a 3-way trade.

If he could've found his aggressiveness (that last "real" season in Philly ****ed his head up) and Kyrie wasn't such a weird they had a chance to work.

Oh well, this once again proves that building a "superteam" doesn't guarantee success. [emoji2377]

Nets bottom out and see what Cam + Nic can do over the next few months.

Nah 1 title makes it worth it.

KD must have some back issues because he flat out refuses to want anything to do with trying to carry a team.
Any word on the protections on the Toronto 1st round pick?

Sucks to see Jakob leave, but at least he's going back to Toronto (he's familiar with the city/org.), plus we need to really bottom out for Wemby or Scoot.

Can always sign another veteran center to soak up minutes in the offseason (or retain Collins).

Hoping the team can get another 1st by moving Josh Richardson. We'll see.

                    2023 NBA Trade Deadline

Please dont get fooled by the Cam hype, y’all lol

I’ve already seen folks talking him up like he’s a building block and he’s not. Those 40 point game are cute and all…but when they’re not winning, then people stop getting impressed by them and then they throw the “empty stats/he’s a chucker” allegations on you lol

But yeah, we’re really in no position to “tank” which is good because we’re not good at that anyway. Just become Toronto South, where you’re competitive and a “tough out” for teams, which they’ve been since Vaughn took over.

                    Fortunately it’s not Boston 2.0.

Like the Jazz received LA's 2027 pick with Top 4 protections, if the Lakers were to get a Top 4 pick that year in the lottery then they get to keep the pick and we get their 2nd round pick that year instead

They will be stipulations the next year which are key sometimes it will be lottery protected again and sometimes move to 2nds or unprotected.

Thomas Bryant to the Nuggets for Davon Reed and three second round picks, not a fan of it.

Bryant can shoot and grab boards, I would of preferred Gabriel getting sent out for a bag of chips.
