I like the move for the Sixers. They needed more length on the wings and he is a good rebounder. Also was important to get a 2 way wing. They still desperately need an upgrade at backup Center

Thybulle has been more willing to fire off shots quickly lately. He can play alongside either Dame or Simons, or as a small 3 in some lineups.

The move also gets them under the tax line

Wood gotta be on the block, played 18 and 16 minutes the last two games. Weird because he's producing offensively, and while maybe not a great defender he does protect the rim. Young guys have played well recently but they lack big men, depth, quality guard play (Kyrie backup), and have too many guys who just don't' play enough. JaVale, Bertans, Powell.. Nobody on the roster that really shows them they can play them 30+ minutes in the playoffs when rotations shrink.

Man I hate the Bryant trade. Can the Lakers do anything right? After yesterday finally making a good move they do this. Now the Lakers don't even have a center on there team. Bryant should have been starting next to AD. Hate that Lakers have had multiple coaches in a row who refuse to play centers. Now the Lakers have even less size.

I'm thinking with added scoring it might have been more so LAL telling him he would lose some minutes in favor of defense after this trade.. But who knows.

His role would have never dropped if Ham didn't think 3 guard rotations were the key to success lol. Could have kept minutes this whole time. It's weird.

On one hand they can't pay him after this year most likely. So they would lose him. This basically gets them back what they traded for Rui so all they lost this season in terms of assets is that protected first..

BUT none of the other trades make sense unless they are trying to win now. And if you're trying to win now who cares if you lose Bryant later unless he's returning you a first rounder. I'm hoping this means those picks will be used in another trade, or as additional assets because they are trading that other first in another trade.

LaVine to Knicks is interesting.. If the Bulls are fine with just picks/young players then matching money there is pretty easy with Rose and Fournier.

No idea what the Bulls want for LaVine but I'd imagine at least 1 first with some combo of Toppin, Quickley, Grimes, or something might get it done. A couple of those guys and two firsts?

i think it makes sense as he wasn't going to be back from what I understand. So they pick up some much-needed draft capital even if they are 2nds. They can find a backup C type somewhere like the byout market.

The part that doesn't make sense is he was unhappy backing up AD but fine backing up Joker?

Is Toronto going to move anybody of value?

Are the Nets going to move forward with that log-jam of Simmons, Harris, Bridges, DFS, Royce, Cam, Yuta?

Will the Hawks finally move Collins?

They can play Bev as backup center.

I don't think Atlanta moves Collins they aren't going to give him away. They also will not go into the luxury tax (very close to it)

I can't find a trade that makes them better. The suns made the most sense something around Crowder and like Shamet whihc now obviously will not happen.

This is Ham's preference. Closing line-up with DLo, Beasley, Pat Bev.

I don't get Toronto. They have to move some of those guys. the fact the spurs were able to get a 1RP with light protections is a big win. + there are rumors Poeltl is asking for alot contract wise.

love the Muscala pickup for boston. less cost than Olynyk but similar profile, if they can get a buyout wing they are cooking.
